1. 11 Ways to Not Become a Military Justice Statistic
by MAJ Mason S. Weiss
1.Do what you’re told (unless you’re ordered to carry out the Code Red).
2.Only have sex when you're sober, with sober people, who aren't married to
others, your subordinates, your supervisors, trainees, or otherwise off limits.
3.Do not have sex with children! They cannot lawfully consent. Also, stay away
from child pornography! That's also illegal. Get help now if you have an impulse
towards these things.
4.Pay for things at the PX and everywhere else you go.
5.If you've got a problem with your spouse, kids, friends, etc., work it out without
threatening them, hitting them, strangling them, or killing them.
6.If you get drunk, call a taxi, whatever it costs will be less than what a DUI will
end up costing your career.
7.If someone hands you a bong, strange cigar, powdery substance, etc.--do not
ingest it—even if you're depressed, in pain, suffering from PTSD, getting
divorced, mad at your commander, pissed at the Army, etc.
8.Show up where you are supposed to be on time. If you go on leave, especially
for a few years—get a leave form approved first.
9.Fill out forms and documents truthfully.
10. Choose your friends wisely, bad ones can ruin your career and your life.
11. Before you do anything questionable, ask yourself if you would act this way if
you were 35 or 40 years old? If the answer is no---don’t do it now.
