Telemedicine is the use of telecommunications to
facilitate health care.This could mean using
technologies as simple as phone lines , fax
machines , and e-mail , or the use of more
sophisticated as computers, scanners , cameras ,
and various diagnostic tools that can instantly
communicate information between two or more
distant sites.

the technologies of information and communication. It puts
in relationship, between them or with a patient, one or several
healthcare professionals among whom there is inevitably a
physician and, if necessary, the other professionals bringing their
care to the patient.
It allows to establish a diagnosis, to insure, for a risk patient , a
preventive follow-up or a post therapeutic treatment follow- up,
to require a specialized opinion, to prepare a therapeutic
decision, to prescribe products, to prescribe or to perform
services or acts, or to make a survey of the state of health of the
patients
