George Manos is a fan of many legendary artists,
including the Rolling Stones. In 2012, he had the
opportunity to see the iconic band perform at Barclays
Center in Brooklyn.
As a kickoff to the American leg of the Rolling Stones 50
and Counting tour, the show featured many classic songs
including Midnight Rambler and Sympathy for the Devil.
During the performance, which lasted just over two
hours, front man Mick Jagger showed impressive
stamina and an innate ability to captivate the crowd.
3. Rolling Stones
• The concert was given by a touring ensemble that
has been together for more than a decade and
included the Stones’ famed guitarist and other
original member, Keith Richards. Two special
guests, Mary J. Bilge and Gary Clark Jr., brought
additional energy to the performance.
Featuring many songs from 1968-1978, the set list
was a treat for fans who followed the band during its
heyday. Fans also got a taste of new material from
the band’s greatest hit package commemorating
their 50th anniversary.
