This document provides specifications for three hydraulic units that can be used for crimping or cutting electrical connectors and cables. The units are created by combining a double stage hydraulic foot pump with different heads. One unit has a crimping force of 230kN and is suitable for connectors up to 630mm2. A second unit has a crimping force of 130kN and is suitable for connectors up to 400mm2. The third unit can cut cables up to 95mm in diameter. Each unit includes a storage case for accessories and additional information is provided on optional accessories for the cutting units.

Hydraulic units provide protection against short circuit when cutting
accidentally live L.V. / M.V. cables with nominal voltage up to 30 kV
(36 kV maximum cable operating voltage allowed).
