2. The markets closed green on contract end. Sensex close up 248.16 gains 0.92% &
the Nifty close up 78.75 gains 0.97%, rose to a record high as investors bet an improving
economy and government reforms would allow the country to better withstand potential
rate hikes by the U.S. Fed Reserve. Exporters led gainers on the increased Fed
optimism about the U.S. economy, with Infosys prov. ending up 1.6% while TCS up
2.3%. TCS, Hindalco, Infy were top gainers Losers were SSLT, M&M, Cipla, Tata Power.
