43. We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
44. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father.
45. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and became fully human.

64. C: Therefore, we look only to Jesus for the forgiveness we so desperately need.
65. L: As a Christ follower, God hears your prayer. “I choose to make you clean. Your sins are forgiven,” the Savior says.
66. C: We have seen Jesus’ glory and his victory in the empty tomb. Our sin debt has been paid in full. We are free to rejoice!
