Where are you in your business?
• Is your business on fire and growing?
• Is it growing, but not fast enough?
• Is your business flat?
• Is your business declining and you’re just
hanging on?
The answers are in this training!
• Take advantage of:
– The speakers and their training
– The conversations you have with others
– The experience of leaders at this training
• They have already done it. Who do you listen to?
– Take notes!!!!!
– Networking
• Meet new people today. ONE GIANT FAMILY!
Welcome to the neighborhood!
Biggest goal of today
RAISE YOUR
BELIEF!!!!
Figure out your WHY
• Determine what you really want?
• There is no need to be realistic or logical
– Take dreams and execute
– Keep the dream in front of you and everything
will work out
• Create your own economy
– You don’t need to live life by what’s
happening out there. Set your goals and learn
how to achieve them.
WHY
• Has to be more than money
• Money won’t keep you going when the
going gets tough
• You need something that will drive you no
matter how hard it gets.
• You need a WHY that you are emotionally
attached to.
WHY
• Make your WHY so big that the HOW
becomes easier
• Examples of WHY’s
– Financial freedom
– Retire your parents/yourself
– Time freedom
• Everyone’s WHY is different and they are
all important!

How to make a list/The invite
process
Make a list!
• Physically write a list
• Always continue adding
• Network
– (Facebook, phonebook, family)
• Don’t prejudge
– You don’t have to be, but beCOME that
person
Invitation Process
1.Keep it simple
2.Make it personalized
3.Be YOU
Not your best friend?
Create a relationship
• Get to know someone or find out where
they are at in life before you verbally vomit
on them.
• “No one cares what you know until they
know that you care.”
• Instead of making statements ask
questions
The ABC Method
• First, start a conversation with someone.
• A: Where are you AT?
– How are you? Do you have a job? Are you
going to school? Do you like your school or
job?
• B: Where do you want to BE?
– Whats your major?
– Do you plan on making a career out of that?
The ABC Method
• C: Change
- Have you ever thought what your doing now
isn’t going to take you to where you want to
be?
- A year ago today where were you at?
If no changes are made, where will you be a
year from now?
– If you want the things in your life to change,
you have to change the things in your life.
The ABC Method
• D: Decision
– 90/10 Method
– “You seem like a pretty social person, someone who
maybe has a few friends. Well I work with a business
where being social is about 90% of it. So you already
have 90%. If I could teach you the other 10% I bet we
could get you out of your current job/situation. Is that
something you might be interested in?
– Yes or no
The ABC Method
• E: Everything else
– If I…Would you?
• If I were to send you a quick video explaining how the
business works, WHEN would you have time to watch it?
• Set up a time to call for after they watch the video
• - So if I call you Thursday around 8, you will have watched
the video and we can discuss your thoughts and get your
questions answered?
– Do NOT do your ABC’s backwards
– The key is to not to say too much.
– Connect them to an up-line/tool
How to get People to an Event or on a
Conference Call
• We are promoting a specific event or
conference call
• 1. Clear their schedule
– What are you doing tomorrow night at 7?
– “Nothing”, “Great!”
– Now they cannot make an excuse because
you know they are not doing anything.
How to get People to an Event or on a
Conference Call
• 2. Get to the point
– “Hey man, the reason for my call is I just got
introduced to a group of young people that
are making 5, 10, even 20k/month working
together and I think its something we could be
good at.
– If I picked you up tonight at 9 would you come
check it out with me for 30 min?
- No verve, vemma, or any kind of investment
was mentioned!!
How to get People to an Event or on a
Conference Call
• 3. Get a commitment
– Can I count on you showing up or being on
the call?
– I’d love to hear your take on this, can I give
you a quick call after words to discuss your
thoughts?
• Fact about the invites: No one is
guaranteed to show, but if this outline is
done correctly, you will highly increase
your turnouts at your events/phone calls!
How to get People to an Event or on a
Conference Call
• You do NOT answer their questions.
• What’s your goal here?
– GET THEM TO THE MEETING AND LET
UPLINE CREDIBILITY TAKE OVER!!!
– Have we said this enough??

Goal Setting
• Goal setting is one of the most important
skills you will learn
• Leaders set goals
• “In the absence of a clearly defined
goal, we become strangely loyal to
performing daily trivia until we become
enslaved by it!” –Robert Heinlein
David Tucker
Platinum Leader
Importance of Goal Setting
Goals
• Don’t develop a goal on what you THINK
you can do, but set it based on what you
WANT.
• Three types of goals:
– A: A goal you know you can accomplish
– B: A goal that if everything works out then you
will accomplish this goal
– C: A goal that is so far fetched, that you
believe it is unattainable. This is the kind of
goal you should set!
Goals
• Don’t get comfortable in goal setting
• Don’t just set a goal, but understand what it is
going to take to achieve that goal.
• Learn the compensation plan
– Know who in your business you will have to help hit
what ranks to help you achieve your goal
• Take your eyes off yourself and put it on your
team.
– If your team hits their goals, you achieve yours!
The Creation of a Goal
• 3 stages
1. Fantasize
– See yourself as an Ambassador/Pinnacle and act like it
2. Theory
– Reason with yourself by building a theory
– Am I able? Am I willing to do what it takes to hit that goal?
3. Goal
– If you are willing to do what it takes, it turns into a goal!!
Goals
• Big goals do not mean instant gratification
• It will take work
• You need to be prepared to do the work
that is involved to reach your goal
• If you do nothing, you will not reach your
goals
• If you do nothing, you will get nothing.
• Vemma will not work for you unless you
work for Vemma.
Everyone’s Goals
• Create a sustainable income
• To become less sponsor dependent and more
system dependent
– It cannot be everything that you do. It’s about what
you can help your team do and help duplicate.
– Help your team step up as leaders
• Follow our duplicatable system
– Something that anyone of any intelligence level could
follow; High School drop out or a Harvard Graduate.
• Have fun!!!!
– If you aren’t having fun, you aren’t doing it right!

Setting up for a Home Event
No more than 3 - 4 people should be
running the event

focus.
– No distractions.
– High speed internet and a TV that connects to a
computer.
– Cold Verve is a MUST!!
– Get confirmation from an upline Diamond or

Duplication
Fundamentals of Duplication
• The goal is to get the newest members
independent ASAP!
• More leaders = More enrollment
• More leaders = Higher retention
– Less people quit
• Duplication is something everyone can do
• Do what duplicates, don’t do what doesn’t
duplicate
3 Stages of Duplication
• 1. Dependent = being taught
• 2. Independent = teaching others
• 3. Dependable = teaching others how to
teach others
Dependent Stage
• 1. Educate yourself
• 2. Find a mentor/partner
– Someone to teach you what to do, and
someone to grinds with
• 3.Learn to use training materials
• 4. Take ownership of your business
• 5. Rank has nothing to do with your ability
to build the business
Independent State
• 1. Share story and present at meetings
and on phone calls
• 2. Effectively train the newest members
• 3. Knowledgeable on company and its
background
• 4. Can answer questions
• 5. They can build the business with no
restrictions
Dependable Stage
• 1. Effectively share/present
• 2.Duplicate/build leaders
• 3. Mentor downline
– Help your downline become better people
• 4. Holds people accountable
• 5. Teaches others to teach others
3 Key People in your Vemma Life
• 1. Mentor- someone to guide you, hold
you accountable, and teach you.
• 2. Partner- someone to grind with, plan
meetings, always be together, etc.
• 3.Mentee- someone you can mentor and
duplicate yourself onto them.
Duplicatable Training
• Send every new member to our websites.
– www.vemma.com (official company website)
– www.YPRtraining.com (New member training)
– www.vemmatips.com (Business strategy)
– www.verveworks.org (Learn how vemma works)
– www.YPRparents.com (Skeptical parents)

Duplication
• “Speed of the leader determines the pace
of the pack.”
• Your team will do what you do
– If you’re lazy, they will think its okay to be
lazy.
– Set an example for your team
– Define the grind for your team by showing
them how to grind!!!

Credibility Triangle
Credibility Triangle
• Why do we use the credibility triangle?
– You’re new!
• You don’t know the business or products, so you
shouldn’t talk about them right away.
– Save yourself frustration and put the pressure
on someone who is making money!
– Use it as a learning experience to learn how
to tell the story.
– By using the credibility triangle, your friends
will see that the opportunity is real!
3 Components
• You, upline, and prospect!
Credibility Triangle
• How to put this into action?
– Don’t throw up on your prospect. Keep it simple
and say less.
– Edify your upline!
– Get people to meet people
– YOU INVITE, WE
PRESENT, PROSPECTS, DECIDE!
Importance of Credibility Triangle
• If you heard about it from someone who got you
excited, wouldn’t you want your friends and family to get
a similar experience??
• If you still have questions you obviously shouldn’t go out
and answer questions
• Take all pressure off yourself in the beginning and put it
on someone who is making money and has credibility!
• 2 death questions
– How much money are you making?
– How does it work?
– You can’t answer either because you’re brand new. So use the
credibility triangle and you will never worry about it again!

How to close/overcome objections
Closing
Do’s
•Have good posture and be
confident
•Focus on education and
helping others
•Become emotionally detached
from the outcome
•Be assumptive in your
approach
•Promote yourself
•Ask questions that lead in a
positive direction!
•Always be prepared to enroll!
Don’ts
•Argue
•Get defensive
•Focus on “getting” people
Follow-up Questions
• What did you like best?
• On a scale of 1-10…..
• 4 Question Close
– How much would you need to make for this to be worth your
time?
– How much time can you commit?
– How long would you be willing to work until you accomplished
that goal?
– If I could show you a plan…. Would you be ready to get started?
• Grady Polycn’s NEXT STEP- Let’s get you started!
Objection #1- I don’t have the Money
• It’s not an issue, it’s a motivation!
• If $500 is a major issue, ask them:
– How long has this been an issue?
– What are you willing to do today to change
that?
– If you had the money, would you be ready to
get started right now?
• Xbox, snowboard, donation from grandparents,
borrow, give blood, cut grass, garage sale, car
wash…etc.
Objection #2- I don’t have the
time
• This business is designed for busy people
• Feel, Felt, Found…..
• Time Leverage Napkin Presentation
– Month 1 = 2 people
– Month 2 = 4 people
– Month 3 = 8 people
– Month 4 = 16 people
– Month 5 = 32 people
– Month 6 = 64 people
– Month 7 = 128 people
– Month 8 = 256 people
– Month 9 = 512 people
– Month 10 = 1024 people
– Month 11 = 2048 people
– Month 12 = 4096 people
Objection #3- I think it’s a Pyramid
Scheme
• AVVIS
– ACKNOWLEDGE the objection (I hear you)
– VERIFY (“Did you mean______?” or “Is this
what you mean?”)
– VALIDATE and identify with it (I know how
you feel, I felt that way too.)
– ISOLATE the objection (Is this your most
important/only concern?)
– SOLVE the problem (If I could show you a
way…if there was a way…”)
Facts
• Vemma did $117million in sales revenue in 2012
• Pyramid Schemes are 100% illegal in the United
States of America
• Members of the DSA (Direct Selling Association)
• Verve- Official Drink of the Phoenix Sun’s
• Vemma- Charlotte Bobcats
• Men’s Journal, Ms. Fitness Magazine, Dr. Oz

Being a Champion
Being a Champion
• Every person want's to be a champion but
not many are WILLING to put in the work.
“I hated every minute of
training, but I said, 'Don't quit.
Suffer now and live the rest
of your life as a champion.’ -
Muhammad Ali
Being a Champion
• Are you prepared to do what it takes to be
a Champion?
– Identify your strengths and weakness .
Remember every professional was once an
amateur.
– Willingness to learn.
Make the Decision
• Champions leave nothing to luck
– You might not be there YET but today you are
a step closer
– Doubt will only hold you back
Make the Decision
• Time waits for no one! Right place, right
TIME, right people
• Some of you are more EXCITED than you
are COMMITTED!
Make a Plan
"You were born to win, but to
be a winner, you must plan to
win, prepare to win, and
expect to win." - Zig Ziglar
Make a Plan
• What do you want from this and for your
life .
– Daily routine of a champion
– Know exactly the effort that must be put in
– This business is a numbers game.
"It takes as much
energy to wish as it
does to plan." -
Eleanor Roosevelt
JUST DO IT!

3 Types of People in the
Business
• 1. I got it!
– Goes out and does it on their own.
– Makes all the same mistakes as those who
came before them.
• Repetitive business, same questions, skepticisms,
etc.
– Friends say no
– They get discouraged, and QUIT!
3 Types of People in the
Business
• 2. Starts the same as #1
– Says, I got it!
– Makes the mistakes
– Friends say no
– But instead of getting discouraged, they get
motivated
• Become teachable and coachable
• Learn from those who have already done it
– They go on to be greatly successful
– The majority of Vemma leaders are #2
3 Types of People in the
Business
• 3. Follows the system
– Avoids all mistakes and road bumps
– SYSTEM
• Save Yourself Some Time Effort and Money
• Teachable and coachable from the start
• Fast success
– Car qualified in a month
– Executive in 6 months
– Presidential in less than a year
– A very small percentage, probably like 1% of people in Vemma
started out perfect.
– We all got better by following the system
The Law of Increasing Returns
• What you put out to the universe will come
back to you X10.
• Positive vibration = the universe attracting
a positive situation into your life
• Do the little things everyday and it will
come back to you.
• Analogy: Chinese Bamboo Tree
– Water for 60 years and it grows to 60 feet in
60 days.
Crab Mentality
• Network marketing can be met with great
antagonism
– People will try and talk you out of it
– No means later
Crab Mentality
• Analogy
• Its hard to catch one crab on the beach,
but thanks to a particular human trait they
possess, they are caught by thousands
everyday.
Crab Mentality
• Wire cage
• Hole in the top
• Bait in the middle
• Cage lowered into the water
• Crabs come along and start eating.
• More and more crabs come, until the cage
is full.
Crab Mentality
• Eventually, the bate is gone.
• Crab tries to leave
• When he tries to leave, the others won’t let
him.
• The crabs will gang up and pull him off the
sides of the cage.
Crab Mentality
• If he persists, the others will tear off his
claws so he can’t climb,
• If he continues, they will kill him.
• Force of majority causes the crabs to stay
in the cage and lunch is served!
Crab Mentality
• The chief difference between humans and
crabs:
– Crabs live in water
– Humans live on land
• Beware of the crabs content with staying
the trap
Crab Mentality
• Humans don’t generally use force, but
they use things like:
– Innuendos, doubt, ridicule, mockery, sarcasm,
scorn, sneering, belittlement, humiliation,
taunting, teasing
– And dozens of other tactics the crabs around
you use to PULL OFF YOUR CLAWS and
KILL YOUR DREAMS!
Crab Mentality
• You make them look bad
– It’s easier to make fun of it
– Don’t let them drag you back into the pack of
mediocrity!!!
#EmbraceTheStruggle
• Everything that happens to you in this
business happens for a reason
• Struggling helps to shape you into the
leader that you need to become
• If you’ve never struggled, you couldn’t
relate to someone who has.
#EmbraceTheStruggle
• Adversity is a normal thing
• “Every single Ambassador was once a
member who refused to quit” –Luke
Hessler
#EmbraceTheStruggle
• You can let the struggle DEFEAT you, or
you can let it DEFINE you!
• “Fear and faith both require believing in
something that you cannot see, the choice
is yours.”
#EmbraceTheStruggle
• It’s not your job to BE the guy, its your job
to BECOME the guy!
– Personally develop
– Get better and stronger
– This is not overnight
• Have zero doubt and have
UNBELIEVABLE UNWAVERING FAITH
IN THE END RESULT
• If you take one thing away from this event:
– BE HERE ONE YEAR FROM NOW!
– You will be amazed at how far you come and
the lifestyle you will create.
• REMEMBER, It’s not your job to BE the
guy, it’s your job to BECOME the guy.
Luke Hessler
Ambassador Leader
It all starts with a Decision
• You must TAKE CONTROL of your life
and your future. Time to hit the reset
button on life
• You arent joining our team, we are
helping you create your team
• If you could start over and pick anyone’s
team to be on, would you pick your own?
• You’re goal should be to find 6 you’s
It all starts with a Decision
• In order for things in your life to change,
you need to change things in your life
• 2 ways to create change:
• Strong Emotional Impact (The Why)
• Repetition
You don’t know what you don’t
know:
• “Image brings order to the mind, and order is heavens
key”
• “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who
cant read or write, but those you cant learn, unlearn, and
learn again”
The Secret
• LOA
• Who do you listen to?
• “What the mind of man can CONCEIVE,
and get itself to BELIEVE, you can
ACHIEVE” Napoleon Hill
The Secret
• Napoleon hill’s story
• How can you apply this to Vemma?
Dream Board
Know where you are going
• Know where you are going, how you’re getting there,
and why you’re going there
• Set goals
• “Winners can tell you where they are going, what they
plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the
adventure with them”
• Follow the action plan and always have a full schedule:
KISS
• More meetings means more money
Keys to Success
• Keys to Success: Bill Gates on Larry King
Live
• Luck: right place, right time, right people
• Depth Of Vision
• Taking action
Luck: right place, right time,
right people
• No such thing as luck, you create your
own luck
• Is this the right place, at the right time,
with the right people?
• Right place? Anthony Powell
• Right time? 44,000 YPR all across the
country
• Right people? We have the best leaders
in the business
Depth of Vision:
• Last year vs. This year
• “Your present circumstances don’t determine
where you can go; they merely determine where
you start” Nido Qubein
• Amway did it and so will we... but better
• Roger Bannister 4 minute mile
• “Faith based on understanding, is the key to
freedom” - Bob Proctor
• Imagine 1, 5, 10, 20 years from now?
• BE HERE A YEAR FROM NOW
Taking action:
• Half the people here, wont be here a year from
now, the other half will of tripled their income!
• Give up, to go up
• What you do speaks so loudly that I cant hear
what you’re saying
• 30% 50% 70% 100% 120%: How hard are you
going to go?
• Dont confuse activity with productivity
• If you dont tell your friends about this, we will
“When you die, your life will be defined in a
single sentence. Choose it now, and choose
it wisely”
ITS TIME FOR ALL OUT MASSIVE
ACTION!!!

  • 15. Not your best friend? Create a relationship • Get to know someone or find out where they are at in life before you verbally vomit on them. • “No one cares what you know until they know that you care.” • Instead of making statements ask questions
  • 16. The ABC Method • First, start a conversation with someone. • A: Where are you AT? – How are you? Do you have a job? Are you going to school? Do you like your school or job? • B: Where do you want to BE? – Whats your major? – Do you plan on making a career out of that?
  • 17. The ABC Method • C: Change - Have you ever thought what your doing now isn’t going to take you to where you want to be? - A year ago today where were you at? If no changes are made, where will you be a year from now? – If you want the things in your life to change, you have to change the things in your life.
  • 18. The ABC Method • D: Decision – 90/10 Method – “You seem like a pretty social person, someone who maybe has a few friends. Well I work with a business where being social is about 90% of it. So you already have 90%. If I could teach you the other 10% I bet we could get you out of your current job/situation. Is that something you might be interested in? – Yes or no
  • 19. The ABC Method • E: Everything else – If I…Would you? • If I were to send you a quick video explaining how the business works, WHEN would you have time to watch it? • Set up a time to call for after they watch the video • - So if I call you Thursday around 8, you will have watched the video and we can discuss your thoughts and get your questions answered? – Do NOT do your ABC’s backwards – The key is to not to say too much. – Connect them to an up-line/tool
  • 20. How to get People to an Event or on a Conference Call • We are promoting a specific event or conference call • 1. Clear their schedule – What are you doing tomorrow night at 7? – “Nothing”, “Great!” – Now they cannot make an excuse because you know they are not doing anything.
  • 21. How to get People to an Event or on a Conference Call • 2. Get to the point – “Hey man, the reason for my call is I just got introduced to a group of young people that are making 5, 10, even 20k/month working together and I think its something we could be good at. – If I picked you up tonight at 9 would you come check it out with me for 30 min? - No verve, vemma, or any kind of investment was mentioned!!
  • 22. How to get People to an Event or on a Conference Call • 3. Get a commitment – Can I count on you showing up or being on the call? – I’d love to hear your take on this, can I give you a quick call after words to discuss your thoughts? • Fact about the invites: No one is guaranteed to show, but if this outline is done correctly, you will highly increase your turnouts at your events/phone calls!
  • 23. How to get People to an Event or on a Conference Call • You do NOT answer their questions. • What’s your goal here? – GET THEM TO THE MEETING AND LET UPLINE CREDIBILITY TAKE OVER!!! – Have we said this enough??
  • 27. Goal Setting • Goal setting is one of the most important skills you will learn • Leaders set goals • “In the absence of a clearly defined goal, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until we become enslaved by it!” –Robert Heinlein
  • 29. Goals • Don’t develop a goal on what you THINK you can do, but set it based on what you WANT. • Three types of goals: – A: A goal you know you can accomplish – B: A goal that if everything works out then you will accomplish this goal – C: A goal that is so far fetched, that you believe it is unattainable. This is the kind of goal you should set!
  • 30. Goals • Don’t get comfortable in goal setting • Don’t just set a goal, but understand what it is going to take to achieve that goal. • Learn the compensation plan – Know who in your business you will have to help hit what ranks to help you achieve your goal • Take your eyes off yourself and put it on your team. – If your team hits their goals, you achieve yours!
  • 31. The Creation of a Goal • 3 stages 1. Fantasize – See yourself as an Ambassador/Pinnacle and act like it 2. Theory – Reason with yourself by building a theory – Am I able? Am I willing to do what it takes to hit that goal? 3. Goal – If you are willing to do what it takes, it turns into a goal!!
  • 32. Goals • Big goals do not mean instant gratification • It will take work • You need to be prepared to do the work that is involved to reach your goal • If you do nothing, you will not reach your goals • If you do nothing, you will get nothing. • Vemma will not work for you unless you work for Vemma.
  • 33. Everyone’s Goals • Create a sustainable income • To become less sponsor dependent and more system dependent – It cannot be everything that you do. It’s about what you can help your team do and help duplicate. – Help your team step up as leaders • Follow our duplicatable system – Something that anyone of any intelligence level could follow; High School drop out or a Harvard Graduate. • Have fun!!!! – If you aren’t having fun, you aren’t doing it right!
