Social Web Cryptography API (Last Call) がSocial Standardに 非常に重要なカギとなる 暗号・復号化、鍵保管、電子署名をブラウザで実現 すでに多くのブラウザでインプリ済み 認証、スマートカード、ハードウェアトークン技術を含むワ ークショップによって新しいチャーターを作っていく Decentralized Citizen Engagement Technologies (DCENT：ECが資金援助、NESTAがコーディネート) がW3Cの 標準化作業に参加し、オープンソースSocialシステムを構築 W3Cが“Lean Design”ワークショップをフィンランド、アイ スランド、スペインで開催し、市民や政府関係者と協議す ることを約束：DCENTによるオープンソースコードがW3C のSocial Web作業に組み込まれる
