- GIDC provides developed land with power, water, roads and other infrastructure to attract investors. It aims to position Gujarat as a leading industrial hub through initiatives like special investment regions, ports and special economic zones.

Will commence from 2011-12. 292 Anganwadis and Livelihood Centers in 175 villages would be built at a cost of Rs. 30 crore. Rs.4 crore paid for providing gas stove and pressure cooker in Anganwadis of Banaskantha and Sabarkantha districts. Rs.26 lacs sanctioned for Akshay Patra Foundation for purchase of 3 vehicles for providing Mid-Day-Meal in villages of Padara Taluka of Vadodara District. Water supply scheme of Rs.12 crore approved for 10 villages in Dahej region. Rs.20 crore sanctioned for up-gradation of approach roads to villages in Dahej area.
