2. Brief Background of the
Shedrup Nyizei Ling Shedra
Purpose of the school is to
educate monks to enable them to
spread the words of Buddha or
Dharma throughout the world.
The first phase of the Shedrup
Nyizei Ling Shedra, a monastic
school for monks, located in
Whaka Village, Yushu, Qinghai,
China was completed in October
2010. The first phase of the school
was fully funded by donations from Malaysian followers of His Eminence the 6th Tulku Ashak Thutob Rinpoche,
the abbot of the Terchen Nyima Drakpa Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The first phase of the school consists of a
main shrine hall, 20 rooms and a kitchen-cum-dining hall.
To complete the school, another 50 rooms, a court yard, a toilet, a sundry shop (which will be operated by the
school selling essential goods to the villagers) and a clinic will have to be built. A Buddha statue, a Guru
Rinpoche statue and a Chenrizig stature will also be erected in the main shrine hall.

学校的目的是教育僧侣以在世界各地宣扬佛法。
尼札藏传佛教学院第一阶段已在 2010 年 10 月完成，是一所僧侣学校，位于中国青海省玉树县的哈
卡村。学校的第一阶段是全部由崇高的第六活佛仁波切 Ashak Thutob 在马来西亚的信徒捐赠的。仁
波切 Ashak Thutob 也是吉隆坡德千尼玛达巴蔵长中心的主持。学校的第一阶段包括一个主要寺庙大
厅，20 间房和一间厨房兼餐厅。
新建的学校将有 50 间房，一间法院院子，一间厕所，一间杂货店（这销售必备品于村民的杂货店
将由学校经营）和一间诊所。正殿大厅也将竖立一尊佛像、上师仁波切雕像和 Chenrizig 雕像。

3. The Benefits of Building a Monastic School
Building a monastic school, like building a monastery, has unbelievable merit. Because it is a holy place with
the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha abiding in it, however many atoms the monastic school has, that many
lifetimes you are reborn in the deva or human realms, with all wealth and power. Your merits, including the
number of atoms of the monastic school, increase all the time, for eons. The merits received are never lost and
increase all the time, while you are walking, working, eating, sleeping, sitting, and doing any activities. They
continuously, unceasingly increase.
兴建寺院学校的好处
兴建一间寺院学校，就像盖寺庙，具有令人难以置信的善法。因为它是一个供奉佛、法和僧的神圣地方，

The Benefits of Spreading the Buddha’s Words or Dharma
By contributing to the completion of the monastic school, you are continuously contributing to the spreading
of the Dharma or the Giving of the Gift of the Dharma to the world through the monks that will be educated in
this monastic school. Since the gift of Dharma is the most supreme, the benefits you receive are many folds of
that of the benefits of building the school.

His Eminence the 6 Tulku Ashak Thutob Rinpoche was born in 1971
and came from a family of great spiritual practice and attainments. At
the age of 3, he started to talk about his past life to his parents and
sangha. He was ordained as a monk at the age of 5. He was recognised
as a Tulku (reincarnation master) by HE Phentul Chogyal Drakpa
Rinpoche, HH Dzarong Trulshik Rinpoche, HH Penor Rinpoche, HH
Nyima Drakpa and HE Gyalse Rinpoche. He received his English
Education in Dharamsala. He then studied Buddhism in Rumtek
Monastry in Sikkim. He also studied and received numerous teachings
from many realised masters including HH the 17th Karmapa, HH Penor
Rinpoche, Khenpos, high lamas and yogi masters. He received the
Kalachakra empowerment twice from the Dalai Lama, the Rinchen
Terdzog empowerment and oral transmission from both HH Taklong
Tsetul and HE Namkha Rinpoche, and the Dzogchen teaching from HE
Donse Thinly. Tulku Ashak Thutob Rinpoche was officially enthroned by

HE the 11 Chongpo Lobsang Rinpoche and HE Wangdrak Rinpoche
who are both the abbot of Driyal Drudul Sang Ngak, Khenpos, high
lamas, yogi masters, monks and nuns. He is the founder and abbot of
the Ashak Monastery. He is founder of the Tulku Ashak Charity
Foundation which raise funds for all the financial needs of the Ashak
Monastery, the Driyal Drudul Monastery and its Shedrup Nyizei Ling
Monastic School, the Migpur Monastery and its Samtem Choling
Nunnery which are all located in Nangchen, Qinghai. Present the above
monasteries have about 180 monks and 35 nuns. He is the founder and
abbot of the Terchen Nyima Drakpa Centre in Malaysia. He is of the
Nyidrak lineage in Eastern Kham Nangchen. He is renowned for his
spiritual Traditional Tibetan healing ability.
