• The total revenue generated by PayPal is amounted to a fraction under
$8 billion, and the processing amount is above $61 billion in first three
months of the year. This means everyday PayPal processes $9.3 million.
Facts About PayPal
S.W.O.T Analysis
• PayPal is available in 203 markets around the globe, and it processes
payment in 100 different currencie.
• In United States, PayPal accounts for as much as 30% of all online

Availability and Growing
Inception and Progress
• Falcon 1 -Founded in 2002,the first
private company to launch liquid fuel
rocket in the orbit( september 2008).
• Falcon 9-First private company to
launch and recover a
spacecraft.(december 2010).
• Dragon-First private company to
send a space craft to ISS.
• Falcon 9-First water landing of a first
stage orbital rocket(april 2016).
• Falcon 1- All three rocket engines were privately
funded.(Merlin,Kerstel,Draco)
• Falcon 9- US government funded a portion in development.
• August 2012-SpaceX joined a large development contract
with NASA.
• At year end of 2012 SpaceX had 40 launches on his manifest
representing about $4 billion in contract revenue.
• January 2015-SpaceX raised $1 billion in funding from
google and fidelity.
Future of Space Exploration..
• Privatizing space transportations.
• Making it possible for humans to live on other
planets.
• Fully reusable aircrafts.
• Making it economical to travel in space.
Strengths:
1. unique approach to R&D.
2. Reusable rocket system.
3. competitive prices
4. in-house
development,testing,fabrication.
Weakness:
1.in future, more expensive
2. investment in vain.
3. future profitability.
4. invest a lot in R&D
Opportunities:
Leading role in rocket development.
No competition.
Lots of revenue.
Many contracts..
Threats:
Raw material cost increases.
Labor cost increases.
Loss of contract from bigger agencies.
They don’t create missions of their own.
If government lose their interest.
S.W.O.T Analysis
How Does it work?
• 1799 , first patent of pressurized tube transportation by British mechanical
engineer.
• Coined the word hyper(hypersonic) + loop (runs in loop) in July 2012 at
a PandoDaily event in Santa Monica, California .
• This would be immune to weather, collision free, twice the speed of a plane,
low power consumption, and energy storage for 24-hour operations.
• From late 2012 until August 2013, a group of engineers from
both Tesla and SpaceX worked on the conceptual modelling of Hyperloop.
• Musk made hyperloop an open source design.
• June 2015 – Space X made 1.6 mile long hyperloop test track beside SpaceX
Hawthorne facility for test run by third parties.
• By November 2015 , several companies and student’s team are working on
hyperloop’s concept in Hawthorne facility , improvising the design.
Inception and progress
• Announced their plan to connect LA and Las Vegas in Feb 2015
• They have organized board with group of 100 engineers , raised capital of 90 million USD.
• On May 11, 2016 Hyperloop One conducted the first live trial of Hyperloop technology.
• In July 2016, they released a preliminary study that suggested a Hyperloop connection
between Helsinki and Stockholm would be feasible, reducing the travel time between the
cities to half an hour. The construction costs were estimated to be around €19 billion (US$21
billion at 2016 exchange rates).
• Group of 500 part time engineers located across US
• They are working on the route connecting San Francisco and Los Angeles.
• Finalized deal in May 2015 with landowners to build 5 Km test track in the proposed route.
• Partnered with Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum and AECOM to assist in the development and
construction of the test track
• estimated to take 32 months to complete at a cost of US$150 million.
Groups that acquired funding
• A Toronto Based startup that intends to connect Toronto and Montreal
• Their full scale model will be revealed in InnoTrans Rail show – Berlin in
Sept 2016.
• Their infrastructure is capable of being solar powered with computer
driven control.
• TransPod has announced a plan to produce a commercial vehicle by
2020 and to work with regulatory agencies for approval of its first
hyperloop lines between 2020-25.
Groups that acquired funding
STRENGTHS:
Less expensive than other
ideas • Modern • Fast •
Easier to build •
Earthquake resistant •
Reduced drag and friction
THREATS:
• Foreign mode of transportation
• Fast speeds may deter people •
Hyperloop is not yet perfected •
Overlap with other proposals •
Proposed tube size may “choke”
airflow
WEAKNESSES:
• New and unknown • Not
everyone wants to travel that
fast • Not much room in each
“capsule” • Trains work fine
and people like them • Turns
prevent it from hitting top
speed
OPPORTUNITES:
• New • Exciting • Safety •
Efficiency • Can be used in
Mars Transportation • Faster
than normal trains
S.W.O.T Analysis
5th Mode of transportation : The future?
The Hyperloop will be viewed as an astonishing advancement in
current transportation technology. Because it will be safer, quieter,
cheaper, environmentally friendly, and most importantly, faster.
Through the use of “The Fifth Mode,” people will see how the
Hyperloop really is the way of the future. This communications
strategy will bring the many positives of building the Hyperloop
forward so potential investors and consumers alike will see that
investing and using the Hyperloop is a smart choice for everyone.
Thank You!
