2. The story of the fence starts near the yard of Otto Venus the carpenter of Sarona. Initially the yard was vegetable garden. In ~1925 when tennis became popular, the Templers built on the yard tennis court and small club house in the corner. When Otto Venues built new modern house in 1929 over his workshop, the surface of the tennis court was concreted by Josef & Hugo Wennagel. Between the Tennis court and the yard a special decorative fence was built It was made of Wieland Cement bricks, metal poles, grid & decorative steel edges. Venus Workshop in 1910

6. The Shack (Baracke) in the yard of Baldenhofeer Carl house, was Israeli army office until 2006 The grass surface was previously Sarona Tennis Court.
7. Close to the Shack west wall we found 5 poles of an old fence with 3 decorative edges left. the old cypress trees and the bush guarded the fence for many years. We took out the fence poles before the Shack was destroyed.
8. The Tennis court was located behind Baldenhofer's house, A narrow path led along the side of the house which provided access to the Tennis court. Carl Baldenhofer was employed as a patternmaker at Wagner's Foundry and did engineering works, the fence with metal decorative edges was probably his idea. 10. The Yard after the shack was destroy on April 2008. Short terrace made Wieland Cement Bricks was left, grass was planted.
11. Before the process of fence restoration starts we made photo simulation of the fence Old Venus Otto House
12. Ten new Metal Edges (Zaunspitzen) were cast in an old Israeli foundry.
13. The work on the restored fence with seven poles last 3 days, behind the fence you can see how close is Carl Baldenhofer house.

17. On 19 April 2009 members of the Society for Preservation of Heritage Site in Israel with Sarona Gardens management team, celebrate the fence restoration with the Templers group. Two metal edges were given as memory gift to the group leaders, one for TGD the second for TSA.
