I learnt that a lot of things that can be placed on the computer by utilizing the CD ROM. I was amazed to see the vast potential of CD ROM. I would have never imagined about using them as a teaching device. I discovered in the library that there are lots of CDs that are produced to assist teach children how to read, eye and hand synchronization, figures as well as mathematical talents. With the passage of time I learned to use this technology by putting my best efforts into it since it was a requirement . I found that studies were conducted on the use of CD ROMs in classrooms. As per the National Center for Research on Literature Teaching and Learning, “the State University of New York, Albany, has studied commercially offered multimedia and hypermedia software for elementary as well as high school students. The center found that the applications were reasonably priced, devised for commonly available platforms, technically quite fine, as well as related to works commonly taught in elementary and high school classrooms.” I think that it is fine that teachers have other methods of teaching children and latest techniques to present the substances. It is significant to note that children in recent times learn to use the technology that is offered to them. The world is changing very quickly and latest technology is being developed every
