2. • We designed a lot of production logo’s before
we decided on the final one
• We wanted a logo which presents the horror
genre as the media products which we are
creating are horror based
• The colours which we wanted to use were
dark colours as they conveys the genre of
horror (create enigmatic atmosphere)
3. This is the first logo which was created. It follows the conventions when it comes to horror as
there is the use of blood, the colours red and black, also the heart is shown to be split into half
with blood in the middle.
4. Here is another attempt in creating a logo, it shows a persons hand with a piece of hair in
their hand. There is also blood dripping from the persons hand which is a convention of a
horror trailer. The reason person has a piece of hair in their hand is because in the
narrative structure Rosie is meant to cut her hair into piece so we thought we would
incorporate that into our logo
5. Our tagline for the trailer is “Every rose has its thorn”, this is the reason the logo’s have a
image of a rose as it signifies the importance of the tagline. We wanted the audience to be
able to relate our trailer with the logo.
6. Here is the first mock up of the
final logo. It is a hand drawn
drawing of a skull which is
associated with ghost and
spirits which are typically seen
in horror films. As a group we
