Diploma Holder in Marine Engineering surveying course from International Institute of
Marine Surveying, London – I.I.M.S (Lloyds recognized course).
• Visiting faculty on Marine Insurance related topics with College of Insurance, I.I.I and
National Insurance Academy, India; also correcting answer papers for Insurance Institute of
India. Mumbai & Associate member of Insurance Institute of India (AIII) in Marine branch and
a recipient of Subramaniam Award in Marine Insurance claims, at all India Level – May 2007
• Associate member of IIISLA (Indian Institute of Surveyors and Loss Assessors) – September
2008. Loss Adjuster in Fire / Property and Marine domains, holding IRDA approved license for
surveying Marine Cargo and Fire (Property) claims. License number: SLA 73095, dt. of expiry
– 27/02/2016.
• Diploma Industrial electronics from MSBTE – 2004 & currently pursuing Section B AMIE,
Mechanical Branch from Institution of Engineers India, Kolkata.
Work Experience:
• Carried out about 1000 to 3000 Marine Cargo Surveys / H&M and condition/valuation surveys
over a period of 10 years. OD Cargo Supervisions.
• Carried out about 100 to 500 Fire / Property surveys and have carried out Packaging and Loss
Prevention Studies for Major Corporates like Atlas Copco Ltd, Micro Inks ltd, GM Motors
India etc.
• Editor of our in-house bulletin “Navigator” which is widely acclaimed in Insurance Industry
across India.
Other Interests:
• Youngest Past Secretary (2013 – 2014) and member of Rotary Club of Panvel, part of world’s
largest NGO – Rotary International. Sgt. At Arms (2014 – 15).
