The largest medical specialties prescribing bone drugs are orthopedics, rheumatology, and endocrinology, totaling around 330 specialists. Sales of the drug Arcoxia have increased steadily each year between 2010 and 2014, with a 42% growth rate between 2013 and 2014 as the number of tablet packages increased. Market penetration strategies for bone drugs include government tenders, large private accounts, and polyclinics.
