Save the Planet was launched in 2010 as a vehicle to help accelerate the waste management
development in South-East Europe. In 2011 the Conference gathered 250

policy obstacles, to financing solutions, and latest technologies application. Save the Planet 2012 will continue to tackle the
financial, regulatory, policy and technological roadblocks to waste management implementation across the SEE Region. The parallel
Exhibition will also serve as a forum for the international environmental community to meet and collaborate with South-East
European policy-holders, senior utility executives and private sector leaders.
