  8. 8. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Identify ingredients used in preparing Clubhouse Sandwich. Demonstrate on how to make Clubhouse Sandwich. Follow correct procedure in Preparing Clubhouse Sandwich and observed safety and sanitation. Relate the topic in a real life situation

  10. 10. 1. Mise’en place – which means “putting in place as in set up”. 2. Sandwich – is a food typically consisting of vegetables, sliced cheese or meat, placed on or between slices of bread.
  11. 11. 3. Club sandwich – three slices of toast filled with sliced meat or vegetables. 4. Spreads – the purpose of spreads is to protect the bread from soaking up moisture from the filling.
  12. 12. Did you know?  Clubhouse Sandwich also called CLUB SANDWICH Originated at the UNION CLUB OF NEW YORK CITY.
  13. 13. IMPORTANT REMINDERS: 1. OBSERVE cleanliness 2. REMOVE all your hand accessories 3. WASH your hand properly 4. WEAR complete working outfit 5. PROPER handling of tools should be observed to avoid accidents.

  15. 15. • 3 slices white bread • Mayonnaise • 2 leaves lettuce • 2 slices tomatoes • 2 slices cucumber • 1 slice ham, cheese and scrambled egg
  16. 16. Procedures
  17. 17. 1. Place the 3 slices of bread that without crust/corners on a clean work surface, spread the top with mayonnaise.
  18. 18. 2. On the first slice, place 1 lettuce leaf, then 2 slices of tomatoes and cucumber.
  19. 19. 3. Place the second slice of toast on top, spread side down. 4. Spread the top with mayonnaise.
  20. 20. 5. On top of this, place the ham then the other lettuce leaf. 6. Add scramble egg.
  21. 21. 7. Top with the third slice of toast, spread side down. 8. Place frill picks on two sides of the sandwich
  22. 22. 9. Cut the sandwich from corner to corner onto triangle. Each triangle will have a pick through the center to hold together.
  23. 23. 10. Place on a plate with the points up.
  24. 24. •INSTRUCTIONS •Wear your PPE •Follow the procedure properly and observe sanitary procedure. •15 minutes to make your clubhouse sandwich. If you are done present, your output. •In presenting the output, you have to identify the ingredients used in preparing clubhouse sandwich. •Do not make any noise while doing the task. •Lastly CLAYGO/ Clean As You Go
