In modern time newspaper is very useful to every person to increasing their
knowledge so that newspaper is useful in corporate world or many community or
society throw various advertising like product development ads, social ads,
educational ads, etc. advertising are useful for developing our business towards
various stakeholder of the business. Approximately 65% of adults are reading
newspaper everyday. The average person is exposed approximately 2000 ads in
each week by printed media and the newspaper is most useful for reading in
printed media so that ads through newspaper is important for the developing of the
business. the impact of strong creative on the effectiveness of newspaper brand
advertising, and the implications for the advertiser of the consumers' unique
relationship with their paper. So we asked major brand advertisers such as
superage advertising pvt ltd and S kumar publicity their agencies to share their
insights and showcase how they developed strong, proven newspaper. So that we
can develop our business in a better way.
 Advertising is any paid form of non-personal
presentation and promotion of ideas, goods or services by
an identified sponsor.
◦ The time or space devoted to it is paid for
◦ It uses a set format to carry the message rather than personal, one-
on-one selling
◦ It identifies the sponsored
◦ A newspaper ad can be 1/4 page (space)
magazine also the part of the newspaper because we used to
reading magazine for increasing our informatics knowledge.
 The first major newspaper in India—The Bengal Gazette—was
started in 1780 under the British Raj by James Augustus Hickey.
Other newspapers such as The India Gazette, The Calcutta Gazette,
The Madras Courier (1785), The Bombay Herald (1789) etc.
 19th there has been a long tradition of advertising in India since the
first newspaper publish in India in the century carried advertising .
The first advertising agency is established in 1905. B. Datram and
Company, followed by The India-Advertising Company in 1907.
in 1980s Hindustan Lever which was nearly 10% of the advertising
budget of the corporate sector companies.
 In modern time newspaper also in internet so that online
advertising through newspaper also created.

The growth Rate is 7.20% in 2012 but in the 2013 revenue from the newspaper
advertising is decline they going to 14250 so that it is the time when we implement
new ideas. Online advertising is also good factor for the newspaper advertising.
And recent time online newspaper is also available so we get more benefit from
them for further business.

 In the recent time, these are the various examples of ads in the
newspaper like business ads, product development ads, social and
community related ads government ads etc. the examples of ads are
given below:
I. Online newspaper: In 2009, more than 70 million unique viewers visited
newspaper websites in a typical month – an increase of 12 percent over the year
before.
II. Social networking sites: In recent times, use of the social networking sites
are very fastly & the most popular sites are facebook, twitter, blogs etc. In the
recent national survey 56.1% of respondents said that they trust in the electronic
and printed news media for accurate information and advertising so that blog
and facebook are in this survey is 7.8% and 3.4% respectively. The rest survey
is in the reading session.
III. Technological device: In the recent time most people use more
technological device so that all are becoming modern and this type of device is
1) smart phones 2) tablets etc.
