The document provides instructions for adding content to a virtual learning environment (VLE) course or community in 3 steps: 1) Access the File Store by clicking the arrow next to "Files" in the Control Panel menu to upload files; 2) Upload files to the File Store by clicking "Upload" and "Upload Files" and selecting the file; 3) Add the file to course content by clicking "Build Content", selecting the file from the File Store, and submitting.
2. The most efficient way to add
content to your VLE course or
community is through the File
Store. To access the File
Store, click the > to the right of
Files at the top of the Control
Panel menu.
3. The File Store is a complete list
of all of the resources uploaded
to your VLE course or
community. You can create
folders to help organise this
content by topic, etc.
Click Upload then Upload Files
to add files to the File Store.
4. Ensure Single File is selected.
Browse your computer for the
file you wish to upload. Click
Submit.
5. Click on the menu item where
you wish to add content (e.g.
Learning Materials). Click Build
Content and choose Item.
6. Add a name for the resource
and any relevant information.
Click Browse Course to access
the File Store.
