• These animals are locked up
and lonely. No one would
ever want to feel that way!
• An animal can help a kid or
adult with social skills!
• Animals have feelings too.
They can give you lots and
lots of sweet love

3. Why helping is worth the time and effort
• Animals without forever homes are forced to live in
gloomy shelters and some may even be put down.
• These animals deserve another chance to live a
great life.
• Plus the joy it will bring is incredible.
• They also are life long friends.

your love and care,
will mean a whole
lot to them

take a long amount
of time to take care
of, but they make
you happy and
they will appreciate
the home you give
them and time you

7. How to take care of a new pet
The first thing is to be ready for
anything! Make sure you have
everything you need in your house
hold - If not make sure you buy
whatever you need.
Make sure that your pet gets proper
amounts of water and nutrients every
day so they stay healthy.
Your pet should also be taken on walks
and for regular check ups at the vet.

8. Besides adoption you can:
Help an animal by donating food, toys,
and any bed items such as blankets and
pillows.
Volunteer your time at animal help
organizations.
Raise awareness by spreading the word
about animals in need!
