2. My name is Dima Barghouti, currently located in Amman-Jordan.
My career spans extensive experience working in advertising agencies as a graphic
designer and a traffic controller, a brand protection team leader and a senior graphic
designer in the 2nd largest sporting event in the world; e Asian Games Doha 2006
and freelance projects.
I am fluent in both Arabic and English and enjoy leadership and project management
skills, strong administrative and organizational skills and the ability to set priorities,
manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

15th Asian Games Doha 2006
is has been one of the most challenging jobs I have ever been involved in. e
diversity of tasks in planning, designing and managing different design projects for 42
programmes and 5 unique identities have been an experience of a lifetime.
I have also been assigned as a Traffic Coordinator managing work flow from
directorates with the team of designers and the appointed below the line and
advertising agencies for the Games, while dealing with suppliers and contractors,
supervising production jobs and a team of designers.
During the Games, I have been involved in managing and dealing with infringement
and ambush marketing cases, managing field of play operations and leading a team of
special taskforce for the protection of Games’ wide intellectual property.
Following the successful conclusion of the Games, I have been assigned the task of
developing a back-up system for all work done throughout 2004-until 2007. is was
the design legacy leaving the country a rich library of elements, design concepts,
photo direcitons for coming mega sporting events.

At the time of my engagement with Team Y&R, it was the biggest advertising agency in
Jordan with 55% of the country’s big companies managed by us. I have handled projects
and campaigns from conceptualization to execution and was assigned for the agency’s
prominent accounts.
I have been seconded to Wonderman, the agency’s sister company to train their team of
designers on organizing their tasks and priorities through structuring their traffic and
reporting system and has led the team in conceptualizing and designing campaigns.
