WCA works to improve the lives of Westchester’s children by shaping policies and programs to meet their needs and by keeping the well-being of children at the top of the public agenda.We identify the needs of children and youth, make those needs known, and make sure that they are met. We do this by:-Analyzing the data that reveals how children and youth are faring.-Educating the public and policy makers about children’s needs.Leading coalitions of child service providers and experts in studying complex issues.-Advocating for sensible public investments in children’s services.-Mobilizing parents, youth, and other concerned residents to speak out for effective solutions.
