Whether you are interested in ecotourism, in having a destination wedding, or simply want
to explore the area around William Bay in Australia, experience it all with us here at William
Bay Country Cottages.
Many travel sites, such as TripAdvisor, have a list of things to do in Denmark. You’ll also
find sites by the Denmark Visitors Centre and numerous government and tourism sites to
help you decide what you’ll do during your stay.
Here are five of the most popular attractions our guests here at William Bay Country
Cottages want to visit:
William Bay National Park
William Bay National Park offers some great attractions including Waterfall Beach, Greens
Pool, Elephant Rocks and great places to picnic and explore. The Greens Pool provides
beautiful waters and a sheltered place to swim and snorkel. You can also take a walk to the
beach from your cottage at William Bay Country Cottages.
Pentland Alpaca Stud and Animal Farm
The Alpaca and Stud farm is a popular choice among our guests, especially families. This
wildlife farm offers an animal nursery where you can watch baby animals get their feedings;
it also has a craft gallery, and a place to picnic.
Bibbulmun Track
While the track is almost 1000 km, many people visiting the area opt to do a day walk. Be
sure to bring your camera! Sundays between the months of March and November are
really popular days to go as there are volunteers who host the social walks. You’ll need to
book in advance and pay a fee for admission but many of our guests say it’s well worth it.
Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk
The Tree Top Walk, where you’ll get up close and personal with trees that are over 400
years old is just 600 metres long and is suitable for anyone (it is stroller and wheelchair
friendly, too).

3. Denmark Cheese Factory
The Denmark Farmhouse is a popular local attraction. This cheese factory offers a variety
of cheeses but also offers fudge, preserves, and delicious ice cream, sorbet, and frozen
yogurt that are all made on the premises. The Farmhouse also operates Ducketts Mill
Wines, offering a great opportunity to have some wine and cheese together.
When you visit us, we’ll do all we can to provide you with a delightful Denmark
accommodation, making your stay memorable and enjoyable. Please don’t hesitate to ask
