2. Scene 1 – Verse 1The opening sequence of the music video is of the camera focused on letters on the floor. The camera slowly pans up and around to reveal the lead vocalist, whom is lying in a pile of love letters.
3. Scene 2 - Chorus 1We now cut to a shot of the band on stage but only the lead vocalist is visible, the other members are blacked out, in the dark. We would also have letters from the initial scene falling on the band members. Finally we would create this scene using eclectic shots such as dolly shots, pans, jib shots etc.
4. Scene 3 - Chorus 1A shot from the outside looking through a window at a/the girl. We now have a reverse of the previous shot where we see the girls back and the lead character outside. The character would then fade away to the lyrics "memories that are clear to fade"
5. Scene 4 - Verse 2We then see her leading him by the hand into the woods, as she does so his hand slips from hers and they become separated. A camera shot shows their hands moving apart and so the distance between increasing. This then goes to a shot of the lead singer running around in various directions in an attempt to find her. We would have camera shots of him running towards the camera and high angle shots to give the feeling of being lost.
6. Scene 5 - Chorus 2In this scene there will be a collection of shots of the whole band performing. We are also hoping to get in an audience to give more of a feel of a live performance. Another idea, we would like to record the singers at twice the speed therefore allowing us to slow the video down as professional videos do, this makes it look much more fluent.
7. Scene 6 – Verse 3 + Chorus 3Here we will show our vocalist sitting on a sofa watching TV when the band burst in and start performing the chorus. The camera will then cut back to the live performance and end.
