requires your full attention. You have a full 2 weeks to get this done so use every day to
contribute to this assignment. It cannot be done in one (1) day.I have included the
assignment directions in this announcement below.To Prepare:Review the Resources and
reflect on the impact of clinical systems on outcomes and efficiencies within the context of
nursing practice and healthcare delivery.Conduct a search for recent (within the last 5
years) research focused on the application of clinical systems. Do not use old sources,
webpages, or sources other than the Library databases (Proquest, CINAHL, Ebscoe, for
example). The research should provide evidence to the use of one type of clinical system
to improve outcomes and/or efficiencies, such as (for example) “the use of personal health
records or portals to patients newly diagnosed with diabetes.” Choose one clinical system,
find articles/research about it.Identify and select 4 peer-reviewed articles from your
research. The articles should include research or extensive commentary related to your
chosen clinical system and to the application of the system.The Assignment: (4-5 pages)In a
4- to 5-page paper, synthesize the peer-reviewed research you reviewed. Format your
Assignment as an Annotated Bibliography. Be sure to address the following:Identify the 4
peer-reviewed research articles you reviewed, citing each in APA format.Summarize each
study, explaining the improvement to outcomes, efficiencies, and lessons learned from the
application of the clinical system each peer-reviewed article described. Be specific and
provide examples.In your conclusion, synthesize the findings from the 4 peer-reviewed
research articlesReview the sample Annotated Bibliography posted in the doc sharing
folder and attached here. Choose an application system you are familiar with.Summarize
each study, explaining the improvement to outcomes, efficiencies, and lessons learned from
the application of the clinical system each peer-reviewed article described. Be specific and
provide examples.Students usually submit formatting several different ways. Your paper
should follow this organizational model:1. Start with a title page: Page numbers are always
2. upper right-hand corner; centered on the page is Title of your paper (bolded); your name;
Course number and course name; Walden University; Instructor name; date of submission.
Do not add a header (this has not been required for nearly 2 years at Walden). Do not add
an abstract. Do not add a Table of contents.2. On the second page add a heading: Title of
your paper (this first heading is bolded).3. The first paragraph is the introduction to your
topic. Include the main points to be found in your paper. Include a purpose statement: The
purpose of this paper is…..4. Body of the paper: Heading (left-justified): A couple word
description of the topic (all of these headings are bolded with the first letter of each word
capitalized). Ensure you include 4 annotated bibliographies. Summary of
articles; Improvements to outcomes; Efficiencies; Lessons learned from application. This is
not a brief exercise.5. The final paragraph is the conclusion. Heading: Conclusion (left
justified). The conclusion is a summary and reminds the reader of the main points. The
assignment calls for a synthesis of the content in this final paragraph.6. Lastly, Reference
page. No reference page is necessary as long as all of the sources used are just the four
articles. If you use more (say in the introduction or conclusion) then a reference page is
needed.Additional basic APA tips: Double space only; font is Times New Roman, size 12; Use
headings to organize the paper; page numbers on every page, upper right-hand corner;
When using direct quotes always include “the words in quotation marks” (p. 45). and
always add either the page or paragraph number at the end of the sentence. The YEAR
always directly follows an author/s/organization for both citations and references; no
exceptions; Never add an author’s initials in a citation- last name only; NEVER add an
author’s full name or the academic credentials in a reference- last name and initials only.
