The definition of “freedom” is often cited as a social good in the U.S., even as many people do
not have access to what many people would define as freedom. In idealized visions of U.S.
agriculture, freedom and autonomy is often associated with access to (private) land and the
means of production, as well as the ability to determine your future on your own terms.
After watching the film “13th,” please comment on the concept of freedom. What does it
mean to you, PERSONALLY? Cite at least 2 examples from the film that inform the personal
