Curriki is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to remove the gap between people with access
to high-quality education and people who don't have such opportunities. Curriki created a
website based on XWiki to support collaborative development and the free distribution of
learning materials.
Context
Curriki wanted to make learning possible for everyone, everywhere in the world. The project started
from the idea that technology can play a crucial role in breaking down the inequality barriers that
prevent children from all over the world from accessing quality education. Having this in mind they
created a website, the first and only website for Open Source Curriculum (OSC), which would:
provide universal access to educational materials (different areas of interest from the primary
and secondary education)
allow all actors from the educational system to exchange information and connect to each
other
