Delhi–Mumbai Expressway Timeline
 January 2019: Land acquisition for the Haryana segment was finished in
January 2019. Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan have yet to purchase

 March 2019: Nitin Gadkari, a government minister, lay the foundation stone
in March 2019. The remaining 148 kilometres of the contract will be

Cost of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway
The Delhi Mumbai Expressway is a showpiece greenfield project under out under

November 18, 2022: Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari reported on

of purchasing private land parcels on its behalf. The branch road will require the
acquisition of about 69 hectares of property.
August 31, 2021: Whereas there was previously discord between the states of
Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, both state governments would now evenly split the
expense of building the road link from the projected Jewar International Airport to
the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. 23.5 km of the 31 km road link are in Haryana, and
7.5 km are in Uttar Pradesh. The development of the Ghaziabad-Noida-Dadri
Industrial Corridor investment zone will be aided by the link road's presence. To

9. March 5, 2021: According to media sources, a 31-km-long connection road
connecting the airport with the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway via Ballabhgarh in
