Welcome back to Term 3.
Only 9 weeks in this term, so we need to make the most of our time. I have outlined week by week what I am
hoping to cover this term. It will be important for you to set aside at least 3 hours during the week at school,
and a further 3 hours after school to prepare yourself for the externals and to ensure you cover all the work
and complete the assessments.
I have listed the standards you are doing this year so please check that you have been entered by your school.

Each week, there will be set tasks to complete in preparation for your internal assessments and external

using past exam papers and the exemplars of the new standards as well to ensure you will be well prepared.
These tasks and exam papers (and links to them) will be posted in our online classroom (Moodle), so it will be
very important that you visit our moodle site at least three times a week. I will be sending our regular weekly
updates twice a week. The information will also be posted to our FaceBook Group.
If for any reason you are unable to attend class on a Monday or Friday, please let me know asap by txt or
email and I will try to make an extra tutorial available for you. If you have a computer at home, then you
should load skype on it so that we can have a tutorial via skype or use facetime. If you are struggling, please
