This document summarizes the results of a survey of 20 YNPN chapters about their current data collection and management practices. It finds that chapters collect various member data but have different practices for who accesses and uses the data. It recommends forming a working group to develop initiatives based on chapter feedback, including setting best practices for data collection, management, and a shared data system. The goal is to improve data practices across YNPN by 2013.
