If you drop off your child, or if they walk to school, they will be supervised in the cafeteria after 7:20. Please provide something for them to read, write with, study, or draw. Morning assembly begins promptly at 7:35. We ask that you please drop off your child and then stand in the back of the cafeteria, if you plan to stay, so that all of the students are able to find their teachers and have room to sit.

23. At Kiker zero tolerance means: If there is a problem, it will be addressed. When a child makes a mistake, we are teaching them to: OWN IT - Take responsibility MAKE IT RIGHT - Apologize and fix it CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR - Students commit to not making the mistake again.
30. If your child is sick and misses a day of school, please send a note the day that he or she returns to school explaining the reason for the absence. The office can then mark the absence as excused. If your child is here by 10:00 a.m. they will be counted present.
37. Birthdays are acknowledged each Friday at the morning assembly. If your child would like to bring a “birthday treat”, they may pass it out during our snack time. If your child has an allergy, please let me know.
38. Here are a few of the Field Trips we are hoping to go on this year…
45. Two things need to be kept at school or in a backpack: a sweatshirt in case the room is too cool for your child and a rain slicker (not an umbrella) in case of rain. Because of daily P.E., students should wear tennis shoes and bring a water bottle, labeled with their name, daily.
49. That is all for now! Thanks for Coming! Please write down any questions that you may have on your index card. I will look them over and give you a response as soon as possible.
