• Structural
Adaptations:
• Upper lip is covered with bristles
• Nostril are at top of their head
• Flattened tail
How its adaptations help it to survive:
• Upper lip is covered with bristles
to help find sea grass to eat.

• They have a flattened tail to swim
easier underwater.

Adaptations:
• Thick waxy leaves
• Spiky leaves
How its adaptations help it to survive:
• Thick waxy leaves help to survive
in dry Australian conditions.
• Uses its spiky leaves to help
repel against predators.
