Among the reasons why the Qur’an was sent down, and the teachings
of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺﷺ, is “to warn those who say:
"Allah has taken to Himself a son.”
Da’wah in the context of Singapore in my experience, many would-be
converts/reverts/Balik-Islam, are mostly from the Catholics-Christian
faith or exposed to its teachings.
Therefore, you would most likely be confronted and challenged by
your family-and- friends from this previous faith.

Therefore, what I shall present and share with you today, will be the
necessary knowledge, which, guided by Al-Qur’an, this will help to
eradicate whatever false-notion you may still have about your
previous faith, eradicate doubts and replace it with certainty of the
truth of Al-Islam.
Also it can assist in preparing ourselves and our future generation of
Muslims to become effective witnesses of Islam and hopefully
become motivated in inviting their friends and colleagues towards the
truth.

# 1
This is the most common quotation which most Christians to day
would use.
Yet most Christians merely regurgitate this like a mantra. We should
help them to think through the implication of this statement in all
honesty – perhaps by posing relevant and probing questions.
20. All Rights Reserved © Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail (2015))
Notwithstanding the veracity or authenticity of the Christian Bible,
we shall for argument sake, assume here this quote as though its
true.
Firstly this is not a definitive statement at all, which Christian then
inferred their bias interpretations of it to suit their doctrine.
They seemed to forget that Jesus a.s. was a Jew sent amongst the
Jew and therefore must be understood in the context of the Judaic
teachings held by them at that time.
To assert their interpretation is not consistent with many definitive
statements in the Old Testament Bible, viz.
