«Solar Town» commited itself to give away 5% of its pure annual
income for city improvement projects. This is not just a
commitment — it is a part of the statute

Beyond financials
12. The team of «Solar Town» have developed the project to the stage where it has all the
necessary permits and is ready to be implemented
The cooperative is officially registered according to Ukrainian law
Communal enterprise «Agency of Regional Development» have joined the cooperative
to represent the city of Slavutych
The cooperative team selected the town-owned roofs that are fit for solar powerplant
The technical capacities of buildings to carry the additional load of solar powerplant
was calculated according to Ukrainian regulations
The rent agreements for 3 municipal roofs was signed with the representatives of the
city of Slavutych
The insurance for city roofs rented by coop is established
The cooperative obained a grid connection agreement from the local utility
Commercial proposals and agreements from hardware vendors and services providers
are obtained
Where the project is now?
13. Currently the project team is focused on the following tasks:
Project design works. A company of Kyiv-based PDM
Engineering company is performing technical design of the
solar powerplant. When it is ready — the coop is legally ready to
build
Equity Crowdfunding. The cooperative is attracting new
members/investors to complete the financing of the powerplant
Permits and licensing. We are prepairing documents for permits
and licenses needed to launch the project soon
