authors , poets and other writers to create
images in the mind of the readers.
It is important in order for the readers to
imagine what is happening in the story.
Imagery has 5 types or what we call
senses.

what we see.
Example:
“The town of Kleavaine, even at evening, is brimming with
colors. It was easy to hope for getting lost with its beauty.
The road has stylized bricks, most of the houses are douple;
they have walls made of wooden bricks and many plants

we hear.
Examples:
1. She loves listening to lively music.
2. He sounds angelic and his voice is
calming.

we smell.
Examples:
1. The aroma of the food is good.
2. She smelled like a bouquet of roses.
7. It is a kind of imagery that describes what
we taste.
Examples:
1. The candy tastes like a combination of
sweetness and sourness.
2. I love the spiciness of the salsa.
8. This is a kind of imagery that describes what
we feel or touch.
Examples:
1. She stayed up all night in a cold street.
2. My muscles are burning after a long,
exhausting walk.

through songs, colorful plays, movies and
etc.
