TRANSFERRING SHARES FROM INDIVIDUAL’S ONE DEMAT ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER
(BO to BO Transfer)
Introduction:
Most of us have opened multiple demat accounts. But, reconciliation of the shares at multiple
demat accounts is quite tedious. So, there is growing interest among investors to transfer one’s
shares (already in demat) from one DP (Depository Participant) to another DP. This can be done
through the process of “BO-BO Transfer”. But, this transfer can only be done from one BOID
(Beneficiary Owner Identification Number or Demat Account Number) of an individual /
institution to another BOID opened at another DP but of the same individual / institution.
In this tutorial, we have explained how an individual can perform BO-BO Transfer in Nepal.
Process Flow:
*Note: All these tasks must be completed within one working day, else the transfer won’t take place.
Application
Form
• Get BO-BO Transfer Form from the DP from which you want to transfer the shares.
• Fill the BO-BO Transfer Form indicating share ticker and number of shares to be transferred.
• Attach a copy of "Demat Account Acknowledgement Letter" for the Demat Account from which you want to make
the transfer and for the Demat Account to which you want to make the transfer
Verification at
Transferring
DP
• Get your signature on the "BO-BO Transfer Form" verified by the Transferring DP company.
• Don't forget to get "trade id" entered on the form by the Transferring DP company
Acceptance at
Receiving DP
• Get the Form accepted by the Receiving DP company by getting authorized signature on the form
Payment to
CDSC
• Payment needs to be made to CDSC through deposit to its Global IME Bank Account Number:7511010000038
• Payment of NPR 100 for transfer (regardless of number of companies) from one BOID to another BOID. Note: If
transfer being made from two BOID (at two different DP) to another BOID (at another DP), then payment of NPR200.
Submit to
CDSC
• Submit the form along with the acknowledgement letters and deposit slip to the CDSC office
• Your shares will be transferred by the end of the day

• स्थान्तरण गर्ने DP (नर्नक्षेप सदस्य) बाट BO-BO Transfer फारम निर्ने
• BO-BO Transfer फारम भर्ने
• जुर्न DP (नर्नक्षेप सदस्य) बाट स्थान्तरण गर्ने र जुर्न DP (नर्नक्षेप सदस्य) मा स्थान्तरण गर्ने, त्यहााँ भएको डिम्याट खाता को
"डिम्याट खाता Acknowledgement Letter" संिग्र्न गर्ने

•Global IME Bank मा रहेको CDSC को Account Number: 7511010000038 मा आवस्यक शुल्क जम्मा गर्ने
• CDSC िाई एउटा BOID (डिम्याट खाता ) बाट अको BOID (डिम्याट खाता) मा ट्ांस्फर गरेको रुपैया १०० शुल्क नतर्नुुपर्ु
•यदी दुई वोटा BOID (डिम्याट खाता ) बाट एउटा BOID (डिम्याट खाता ) मा ट्ांस्फर गर्ने हो भर्ने रुपैया २०० शुल्क नतर्नुुपर्ु
CDSC लाई पेश
• CDSC िाई BO-BO Transfer फारम, डिम्याट खाता Acknowledgement Letter र शुल्क जम्मा गरेको भौचर बुझाउर्ने
• यो सबै प्रडिया सक्के को डदर्न को अन्तसम्ममा शयेरहरुको स्थार्नान्तरण हुर्नेर्र्न
