Congratulations on your recent election and/or selection to the
Oakland County Employment DiversityCouncil’s Board of Directors.
It is my honor and privilege to welcome you as a member of the
Board of Directors of this dynamic organization!We are thrilledthat
you have agreedto serve on our Board and look forwardto working
with you. Your knowledge, expertise and vision will be an invaluable
contribution in helpingus to become the best diversity council in
America!
We recognize that you have a demandingschedule and are
extraordinarilybusy. Therefore, we will try our best to limit our
imposition on your time. The Board meets no more than once a
month, usuallythe second Tuesday of each month, and we adhere to
a strict agenda and time schedule (6:00 PM until 8 pm PM). We also
are authorizedby our bylaws to allow Board members to attend
meetings via teleconference.
You will find attached additional information aboutthe OCEDC,
includingour History, Mission, Purpose, Goals, Bylaws, and Board of
