WHAT ARE THE CONTROL PANELS AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?
• The control boards from the point of view of the management, are
blackboards, computer screens or projections of these, where a set of KIP
indicators (by its acronym in English: Key Performance Indicator) that
represent the organizational parameters are shown.
• To better understand the concept, we can make an analogy with the
dashboard of a car, which for example generally indicate engine
temperature, fuel levels, vehicle speed, etc.
• Within an organization, these indicators (graphics) are used to control the
functioning of the organization, such as planned work, absenteeism, costs,
production, financial situation, etc.

• As an example, the indicators can be represented as follows:
Works carried out according to the planned works.
Absences of the staff.

• In order to monitor the parameters that most affect the organization,
indicators such as those presented are developed, which grouped together
form a control panel like the following (only by way of example):

CONTROL BOARDS: www.lucianoantonietti.com.ar WHAT ARE THE CONTROL PANELS AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR? • The control boards from the point of view of the management, are blackboards, computer screens or projections of these, where a set of KIP indicators (by its acronym in English: Key Performance Indicator) that represent the organizational parameters are shown. • To better understand the concept, we can make an analogy with the dashboard of a car, which for example generally indicate engine temperature, fuel levels, vehicle speed, etc. • Within an organization, these indicators (graphics) are used to control the functioning of the organization, such as planned work, absenteeism, costs, production, financial situation, etc.
