Review – Avalido pays off
During the last year the Eden Hotel had sent out 5,000 complex
invitation cards including a special overnight lodging offer for the
Summer Matinee. Marketing manager Peter Meyer had spent € 25,000
for this campaign, each card costing € 5. However, the address database
was not up to date which resulted in:
• 500 invitations not reaching the recipient
• 50 addresses were duplicates
• 450 addresses were invalid
The incorrect addresses caused a loss of € 2,500 by way of printing and
postage costs. In addition, the administration had to spend days to
manually correct and delete the customers’ addresses.
Marketing Manager Peter Meyer did not want this to happen again.
While searching for a solution he came across Avalido. The high data

A few days later the Eden Hotel sent out a personalized validation-mail
