Social Media is becoming an essential part of life 
• Facebook reached 1 B monthly active users on September 14 
• Facebook has 552 M daily active users on average as at June 2012. 
• LinkedIn reported more than 175 million members by June 30, 2012 
• LinkedIn members did nearly 4.2 billion professionally-oriented 
searches on the platform in 2011 
• Twitter has above 600 Million registered users early this month.

The Millennial Enterprise 
Our organizations largely consist of employees known as Gen “Y”ers. 
• Gen “Y”ers and Social Media has become non-separable entities. 
Hence they look for different things in the workplace 
– The Millennial employee is focused on personal fulfillment
