1. 2. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary text?<br />4667250516255-86677530480There is a clear relationship between our music video, digipack and magazine advert. They all have very similar styles and looks. The digipack is conventional like other rock digipacks. Our digipack is very simple and straightforward, it has just the band standing casually with their instruments as the front cover. This is very similar in the music video as well because when the rock band is shown in the music video they are just shown performing, either through singing or playing their instruments. Also the writing style in the digipack is kept throughout the whole digipack to show that it is the bands trade mark sign.<br />We looked at many rock digipacks and therefore we decided to go for a very conventional way (band standing in front cover with just the name of the band written causally and name of the album) of creating our own digipack, so that our own digipack as a result looks believable.<br /> For our magazine advert we just had a the front cover of our digipack with additional writings underneath the picture saying things like the release date etc. therefore by doing this, the customers by looking at the magazine will understand that new conscience (the name of the rock band in our music video) has got an album coming out and when they go to shop for e.g. HMV and see the digipack they will see the same picture as in the magazine cover. This is important as they know that the magazine is there to represent the digipack therefore a clear relationship can be seen.<br />Overall I think our products work fine together as they all have similar colours, themes and styles throughout each product therefore there is a clear relationship between each product.<br />2457450250825-609600296545<br />
