The Application Of Qr Code
Introduction
The development of QR Code has resulted in a revolutionary change in the marketing management
practices. QR code has made it easier for the marketing professionals to sale services by virtually
representing the usage, benefits and drawbacks of the service to the clients (Chitty, Hughes and D
Alessandro, 2012). The paper has been developed to discuss the potential application of QR Code in
service marketing and discuss several factors using various marketing theories and principles. Finally,
the paper discusses the future development of interactive content and information to support service
operations and customer satisfaction.
Question 1
In the contemporary business development, Quick Response Code i.e. QR code can be ... Show more

By using the services theory of culture, QR codes can evolve the commercial performance as
customers will freely identify and access the information related to services (Sang Ryu and Murdock,
2013). For instance, in the healthcare sector, consumers can scan the QR code to identify the services
terns, cost of services, facilities available etc without wasting valuable time. Meanwhile, by using QR
codes marketing of services will become more instrumental, to say the least. By influencing the
marketing culture, QR codes can set up a paradigm that can be utilised by the target demographics to
satisfy their knowledge (Kulkarni and Malagi, 2016).
Alternatively, in the financial services, customers do not need to wait for assistance to compare the
services of other financial firms. By quickly scanning the QR code in an advertisement published in a
newspaper or online, customers can gather detailed knowledge and information about the services and
position of the firm in the market. Thus, consumers can easily select the best services of the firm
without delaying the procedure (Shin and Lee, 2014). Conclusively, QR codes will add a new
dimension in the services sector marketing leading to sustainable marketing.
Question 3
As shown in the case study, QR codes can bypass multiple layers of distribution leading towards
effective marketing of services and products, the advantages of the

Job Right After High School
Moving out is something that every teen dreams of doing once they are out of high school. Once they
are out of high school and met with reality, they realize that it s hard moving out right after high
school. This project has helped me open my eyes to what would happen.
Finding a job right after high school in Porterville was a struggle because most jobs require going
through college. I also wanted a job that would provide me with enough money to live alone and
support how I live, but that was a struggle. Houses were expensive, along with the fact that most well
paid jobs required more than I would have been able to offer.
After I have researched all of the prices for things such as a house, car, utilities, etc, I discovered that

Speech On Mangrove Ecosystem
Assalamualaikum and hye everyone. I m sure that all of you know what is mangrove right? But can
you give me the exact meaning of mangrove? When I m first said mangrove, what does come to your
mind? It is a wonderful creation which gives lots of benefits or is it a frightening surrounding which is
full of biting insects, savage crocodile or unhealthy air and extremely difficult to transverse? Today,
there are still lack of awareness and understanding about these mangroves ecosystem and those
negative view about it is still persists. Most of people don t even know actually the mangrove
ecosystem play an important role for our ecosystem and even in our life. Without knowing the
importance of it, they easily destroy the mangrove ecosystem to build the shrimp pond or what so
ever. I strongly against this activities because I believe that we should save our mangroves ecosystem
for our own benefits. There are three reasons that will support my statement why we should protect
mangrove ecosystem. It acts as breeding and nursery grounds for variety of animals, protect the land

Do you know what carbon sequestration is? If not, let me first tell you what does carbon sequestration
means. Carbon sequestration is the process involved in carbon capture and long term storage of
atmospheric carbon dioxide. Mangroves are one of the largest carbon storage areas. Although
mangroves occupy only 0.5% of the global coastal area, they contribute 10 15% to coastal sediment
carbon storage and also export 10 11% of the particulate terrestrial carbon to the ocean. Their
contribution to carbon sequestration is now perceived as a means for conservation and restoration and
a way to help in mitigate the climate change. As from year to year, the global warming keeps
increasing in thus if the mangrove are absent, don t you think that it will become worse than

New Deal Research Paper

The New Deal s Lasting Effect on Society I pledge you, I pledge myself, to a new deal for the
American people, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt said after winning his party s nomination in
1932 ( A New Deal for Americans ). The 1930s was a time of great economic depression; in response
the New Deal was FDR s plan for America s recovery. By 1933, when FDR took office, one in four
Americans was unemployed. Furthermore, there was widespread hunger, malnutrition, overcrowding,
and poor health. The New Deal was made to combat these tragic conditions and it did so through the
means of welfare and government intervention. Indeed, the New Deal was a radical change to the way

This progressive act officially set up a national minimum wage, set up a forty hour work week,
guaranteed time and a half for overtime, and prohibited oppressive child labor (Friedrich). These acts
dramatically improved labor conditions. A clear improvement in labor could be seen from before to
after the New Deal labor reform. Americans, during the 1930s, clearly needed help. Too many were
unemployed, struggling, starving, and/or homeless. One of the biggest legacies of the New Deal is that
it combated unemployment with jobs in infrastructure. Many agencies and programs were set up to
help increase America s infrastructure and provide many needy people with jobs. One of those
organizations was the Works Progress Administration. Incredibly, the WPA employed an average of
2.1 million people annually for a total of almost 8 million people. It had become largest New Deal
program and required almost 11 billion dollars to fund it (Friedrich). The WPA was made with one
goal in mind: to get people back to work so they can get money in their pockets to survive. The WPA
built highways, airfields, public buildings, and did rural rehabilitation such as planting trees. In total, it
had built around 110,000 public buildings, 600 airports, 500,000 miles of roads, and 100,000 bridges (
New Deal ). Like the WPA, the Civilian Conservation Corps, had been created to provide jobs, but it
was mainly for younger Americans. This program had employed and put 3

Hamlet: During his bout of madness, declares that there is no meaning in life, that existence is trivial

R G: Mostly explores this through the passive roles of R G and the travelling actors in the original

Descriptive Essay About The Cemetery
The cemetery I chose to visit and explore was the Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. On the way to
the cemetery I couldn t help but feel anxious. When I began to drive past the cemetery to its entrance,
all I could see were miles and miles of headstones. It was eerie to say the least. As a kid, whenever my
family would drive by a cemetery, my siblings and I would hold our breath until we passed so as to
not breathe in the wandering, lost souls. Actually going into a cemetery to look around seemed
counterintuitive, I wasn t sure if I would be able to hold my breath for that long. It didn t help that
right when I entered those black gates that separated the living from the dead, clouds of smoke and ash
permeated the air around me due to bodies being cremated on site. ... Show more content on

The fear I held as a child that my body would become a vessel for other souls to enter was intensified.
This was my first impression of my first time in a cemetery and I was not off to a good start. As I
grabbed a map to find my way around, I began to dread the walk through the cemetery and having to
see all the lives lost, especially those who lost their lives before they even really began. However, to
my surprise, as I made my way through the graveyard this feeling of sadness slipped away. The sun
began to shine through the clouds of gray and illuminated both the cemetery and my mood. I was
delighted to notice that many of the tombstones I encountered read that these lives that were lost were
not taken too soon. Most of the people had lived over eighty years and were buried next to fellow
family members who also lived just as long. It was nice to see that many people were laid to rest next
to family so they wouldn t have to enter the next life

The targeted behavior was observed at the school Daniel attends every day of the week. The
observation session took place on 9/4/17 from 10:00 11:00 a.m. Daniel was in his general education
classroom, which is a second grade classroom with 14 other students. The room contains 5 student
tables, 15 chairs, teacher desk, kidney table, rocking chair, promethean board, and an array of books
and teaching materials, along with student supplies. Daniels classroom has little storage but seems to
be organized; the students know where to get items and where to turn in items. During this time of
day, the class engages in snack time; this is scheduled on Daniels IEP because of his diabetes so the
whole class partakes in a snack during this time. Students are sitting at their groups, eating their
snacks and working on center work. The observer was seated on the north side of the room; along this
side is a wall of windows with a counter and cabinets. The observer had a clear view and auditory
accessibility of the interactions between Daniel and his teacher, Daniel and his para, and Daniel and
his peers. The observer only took data on the target behavior (social communication responding to
peers by saying hi when prompted). During this observation session, Daniel was working on his
spelling words for the week at his group. His peers at his group were also working on the same task.

What Was The Market Revolution Between 1840-1840 Essay
What was the Market Revolution between the years of 1800 1840 all about? After winning the
presidential elections in 1800, President Jefferson was determined to secure the nation and develop the
market. He initiated improvements in roads, railroads, and canals. Consequently, the development in
cotton kingdom led to the rise of the West as a powerful nation. The slavery trade also improved and
became more organized. The revolution was also characterized by the growth of Chicago and
Cincinnati cities. In 1814, the first large scale factory was established in Waltham, Massachusetts. The
economic improvements led to an influx of immigrants and traders in the major cities, and nativism
due to the conflicts. Transformation Laws were implemented to control business and peace in the
West. Additionally, the religion also improved as people celebrated self improvement, self
determination, and self reliance. Entry 2 What did the Democracy in America between the years of

Advantages Of Interstellar Travel
The possibility of interstellar travel
Many people or even scientists claimed that interstellar travel is impossible. They argue that it may
take a spacecraft too much time to accelerate to a speed close to the speed of light. Some people think
other stars are too far, and it may take hundreds or thousands of years to reach them. However, as we
will show, these arguments don t rule out the possibility of interstellar travel. In contrast, there are
possible method to travel to very far object in a person s life. We don t consider some possible but still
very unrealistic technologies like twisting spacetime.
Interstellar objects are very far. The closest star except the sun is Proxima, with a distance of 4.27 light
years. Many stars have a distance of hundreds or thousands of light years. Some people think it
impossible for a spacecraft to reach these stars because any object cannot travel faster than light. 100
years is required for light to reach an object that is 100 light years away, and it will take even more
time for a spacecraft to reach the object. However, the argument above doesn t take relativity into
account. There are two different reference frame for us to understand this problem. First, for people
live on earth, the time of an astronaut in the spacecraft will slow down in such a high speed. For
example, assume that a spacecraft travel at a constant speed of 0.99c, and a star is 42 light years away
as seen from the earth. People live on earth think the

Differences Of Ancient Sumerians And Modern Society
When analyzing the biological, cultural, and social, aspects of the ancient Sumerians and modern day
humans we see a profuse amount of distinctions and contrasts. Modern humans live in advanced and
culturally diverse societies which in comparison makes ancient Sumer s way of life seem very plain.
The two groups evidently share many differences , but the author, Samuel Kramer, argues that in the
face of oblivious contrasts, the roots of these two societies are still very fundamentally analogous.
Kramer then expands his point to say modern humans and ancient Sumerians are similar and
comparable on the content of their character, their reactions to war and conflict, and with the similarity
of their social class system. Today in modern society we take many precautions to avoid war and
physical conflict. We have many organizations and systems in place to minimize the probability of
conflict occurring. This is mainly attributed to the poor and negative views on wars and battles
Americans have; but Americans are not the sole society to have this view. Kramer effectively
showcases the similarities of the two groups when in History begins at Sumer he says, That war and
warfare were rampant all over the Ancient Near Fast is, of course, a well known melancholy truth, and
modern history books filled with grisly details taken (Kramer 260). Both societies have experienced
war and bloodshed and we can, from Kramer s diction in the book, see their muted cries for reform
and help. Kramer

Christianity And Shintoism Similarities
Comparison between Christianity and Shintoism
Introduction
Today, many there are many world religions that are based on many different beliefs. Christianity is
arguably the world s largest religion with an estimated 2.1 billion followers in the world. While this
religion has evolved over the years into something now referred to as modern Christianity, it is still
defined by the traditional values mostly found in the scriptures. Some other ancient religions like
Shintoism have also remained in practice even in modern times. The aim of this paper is to compare
these two religions to define the similarities and differences they have. It will also dissect how the
modern values have eroded the core values of these respective religions.

However, it would be wrong to suggest that the progressive thinking has not interfered with the basic
values of these religions. One thing that this progressiveness has interfered with is folk religion.
Today, people in Japan no longer see it as a basic need that shapes their daily life experiences. Instead,
they argue that such beliefs make Shinto appear as an indigenous primitive religion. Today, around
80% of Japanese argue that they have no religion. This shows that these progressive thoughts are
interfering with the religious thoughts or even the basic belief in religion (Littleton 113). Different
from the past, many people today do not belong to any religion because of the effects of these

Examples Of Foolishness In The Odyssey
In Homer s epic poem The Odyssey, the protagonist Odysseus is a mixture of twists and turns.
Undoubtedly, he displays tremendous cleverness. In fact, his unmatched shrewdness often results in an
unwise or foolish outcome. The poem encourages the reader to give up black and white conclusions
about the protagonist. In fact, categorizing acts of courage and foolishness is a difficult task in The
Odyssey. Odysseus adventures reveal a multifaceted character comprised of wisdom and foolishness.
At the beginning of the poem, the goddess Athena encourages Zeus, the king of the gods, to offer
Odysseus special treatment. Zeus is more than amenable to reward Odysseus cleverness and
commitment. After all, Odysseus did design the Trojan horse plan that led to the Greeks victory. The
triumph was the precursor to all of the happenings of The Odyssey and a clear example of
unconventional intelligence. Another illustration of his resourcefulness is his strategy to pierce
Polyphemus eye while he is sleeping. Upon arousal the one eyed monster asks who stabbed him and
Odysseus replies cunningly that it is he or Nobody that did the evil deed. Polyphemus beseeches his
friends to help him, Nobody, friends. Nobody s killing me now by fraud and not by force. (BOOK9)

Mri, Magnetic Waves And Radio Waves On Human Anatomy And...
MRI, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a technique using magnetic waves and radio waves to
investigate the human anatomy and physiology. The usage of the magnetic waves protects patients
from other harmful effects present in other forms of scans, such as the ionising radiation in CT scans.
The process of how an MRI operates is complicated, and involves many principles of Physics, by
using the water molecules within the human body to construct a complex, three dimensional view of
the anatomy . The MRI is far more advanced than many other imaging techniques used for humans. X
Rays, and other scanning devices do not have the same in depth view accompanying and MRI, and
even with the presence of Barium , and other contrast material that increases the quality of the image,
the image itself is two dimensional, and does not have anywhere near the amount of detail observed in
an MRI1. Likewise, the CT scan, which can provide imaging in far more detail than an X Ray,
however has the danger associated with using the radiation which has been reported to lead to effects
such as cancer or the breakdown of DNA The concept of an MRI machine originated back in 1952,
when the American physicist Herman Carr published a thesis with Harvard University sharing his
findings on Magnetic Imagining, and proposed a rudimentary idea for a once dimensional magnetic
imaging machine.1 Over the next 20 years, his initial ideas were developed by researchers, who
proposed the idea of NMR , or nuclear

I had intended to post Part II of the WWI question last night, but got caught up doing movie reviews

from my history class this past week. If you re really into American history and how the politics of the
early Republic shook out, Jefferson vs. Hamilton is a great study. It s also a little, I guess comforting,
to know that as bad as we think today s politicians are, politics was always a very dirty game. Like

and ineffectual to deal with major crises both at home and abroad.
Each viewpoint needed the other to create a government that would be strong enough to protect itself
and it s people from internal and external strife, but not so strong that it would infringe on the rights of
the people as enumerated in the Bill of Rights and in the Revolutionary spirit. These issues, of course,
weren t resolved or ceased to be relevant after Hamilton and Jefferson left the scene. These are still
very much the issues we deal with even now, over 200 years later. As much as we might dislike, or
even hate, the position of the other party, without some balance both sides would undoubtedly abuse

Essay on The Use of Force, by William Carlos Williams
The Use of Force is a short story by William Carlos Williams that is very powerful and leaves the
readers with an ethical dilemma. The following social issues can be debated on it: Can physical for
good purpose be justified?, What compels the use of force isn t simply altruism, difference of two
separating two different tasks, a dark side persists in every individual, parents concern for their
children, use of force as sympathy care for a patient.
The greatest question the story presents is if using force for a good cause is justified. William Carlos
was a doctor in real life and so the story presents a situation that can be looked by a different
perspective by different individuals. The story shows a combat between the doctor and the ... Show

Their comments only serve to do nothing but hamper the doctor from doing what he is required to do.
This is well portrayed by their comments, which also reveal the speakers internal thoughts about the
couple. For instance, the mother says, do you think she can stand it, doctor? (Williams, 1984) in this
sentence, the writer demonstrates the use of logos while trying to appeal to the reader how nagging the
parents were.
From the story, William depicts the difficulties that people have towards separating their emotions and
standards. The doctor s behavior towards the girl and the young patient s reaction emphasizes the
subject of this discussion. However, the use of ethos, the narrator portrays his character as a credible
doctor in the story. The character of both the patient and the doctor reveal a plausible issue comparable
in real life. During this period there is and epidemic of diphtheria, which worsens the situation forcing
the doctor to take aggressive measures in treating his patient. Revealed through his words, the doctor
first tries kindness; Awe, come on, I coaxed, just open your mouth wide and let me take a look.
(Williams, 1984) However, the reaction from the girl is repulsive, forcing the doctor to be firm. The
young girl s character shows the conflict of her role as a patient and that of her personality. This is
revealed by the fact the she is spoiled and

Graduate University Of California At Los Angles Essay
I am quite delighted that as a student from a very small town with limited educational facilities in Iran,
I have reached to the point to consider myself eligible to apply for University of California at Los
Angles. After finishing my early education, my strength in mathematics guided me to continue this
field in high school and from then on I was appealed to the application of mathematic in real world
problems. As for university, however, I preferred to pursue this interest in Industrial Engineering
major rather than Applied Mathematic mainly because the former had a broader perspective of future
careers. During my bachelor degree, I realized that despite the extensive undergraduate study, I still
need to complete the graduate study to discover my ultimate career goals. In addition, upon
graduation, I took the opportunity and worked for one year as an industrial engineer to ascertain
whether I am suitable for academic environment or job market. Ultimately, after finishing the master
degree in Tsinghua University, I came to the conclusion that my passion for research makes me a
better fit in academic area. Hence, I decided to follow my graduate study in Ph.D. level and
accordingly apply for a faculty position. As a result of this definite decision, I even turn down the job

The Personal Plan Of Action
Personal Plan of Action
According to Eric Sheninger, effective principals are instructional leaders, create a positive school
climate, employ quality teachers, are organized, has great communication skills, and has a sense of
professionalism. Many of these qualities are traits that I feel I have and are continually being
strengthened by the knowledge I acquire through my graduate courses and the role as FCIM
facilitator. I hope that through hard work and diligence I will receive an assistant principal
appointment in the next two years, and ultimately a principalship in the next five years.
As a principal, I will be a curriculum leader on my campuses, especially classroom instruction. I will
spend a high percent of my time walking the hallways, devoting the majority of my efforts to evaluate,
and coaching and supporting my teachers in doing their job. I will serve as an expert in curriculum and
exercise my expertise by providing professional development, providing specific feedback, and

Personal Reflection Of My Personal Code Of Ethics
After investing 5 weeks in my Ethics 302 class, I ve learned that morals are, rules and attitudes that we
live by, or are expected to live by. Therefore, morals are related to my personal code of ethics. My
personal code of ethics or conduct plays an important part in my everyday life and activities. This
personal code of conduct promotes many virtues and qualities and produces my moral character. Some
results of my moral character is integrity, courtesy, dependability, friendliness to name a few.
Therefore, my moral character will gauge if I m a good person with a solid moral compass. When I
think about morality and how it relates to my personal code of ethics, I m constantly reminded that we
have a free will to choose what is right and wrong and good or bad. This free will or moral compass
directs us which way to go when making decisions concerning right or wrong. It will make a
difference with the friends we choose, the profession we try to obtain and also how we display our
emotions such as happiness, anger and resilience. Thinking back, I believe my personal code of ethics
were influenced by my parents and my religion. As a young man, I strive to live my life based on my
christian upbringing. God is my moral strength when things get challenging and difficult with the
cares of life. He reminds me when I m faced with wrong decisions what s right or wrong. In addition
to my belief and experiences, my parents have encouraged morality in our household since birth.
Okay, maybe not since birth but early childhood. With that being said, I think I can say that I have
good moral characteristics. The ethical theory that I closely follow is Divine Command Theory. Based
on the definition file distributed for this course, Divine Command Theory is, a theological theory that
God has created the laws of morality; in other words, something is right because God commands it.
Opposed to natural law theory, which claims that God commands something because it is right. I try to
hold this theory close because I know I can t control my moral compass without a higher deity. For
example, I try to practice integrity in my life. As I think back to one of the examples in our discussion
forum where we shared about

Scout Finch Real Courage
Harper Lee wrote To Kill a Mockingbird at a small town of Maycomb, Alabama, after The Great
Depression. The novel talked about racism, prejudices, and social rules which caused society to be
unfair. Scout Finch is a little girl who is the main character in the novel. Her characteristics are
courageous, equal, and emotional by nature, which make her get many troubles when she first goes to
school. However, she gradually grows up and becomes more mature and understandable through each
chapter by learning and overcoming many troubles in her life. In particular, although Scout s formal
schooling is disappointing, there are many valuable lessons which she learns from real life: empathy, a

There is one type of people in the world no matter what they are from, what they look, and what they

example, white people and black people cannot be categorized two different types of people when
white people bring many disadvantages on black people because they only have different thoughts.
Because all people are human beings, they should be treated equally and respectfully to make the
society become fair. However, in the article To Kill a Mockingbird, Jem said, There s four kinds of
folks in the world. There s the ordinary folks like us and the neighbors, there s the kind like the
Cunninghams out in the woods, the kind like the Ewells down at the dump, and the Negroes. (Lee

background, ancestry, and race. In contrast, Scout thinks categorization in a different way, Naw, Jem, I
think there is just one type of folks, Folks. (Lee304). This quote indicates Scout s perspective that all
people are people regardless of race, background, and ancestry. Jem s categorization of people is
incorrect because he understands people through his own eyes. In addition, he sees many unequal

The mouths of three major European rivers converge in the Netherlands: the Rhine, Maas (or Meuse),

unique traditions, such as St. Nicholas Day a holiday based on the life of a generous bishop the
earliest recorded history comes from the time of the Roman Empire. The Romans built forts and

Sobibor Death Camp Research Paper
R
Throughout the course of the Holocaust there were major rebellions at 3 of the 6 death camps (death
camps were concentration camps that carried out mass killings under the SS). Treblinka, Sobibor and
Auschwitz Birkenau all had major uprising by inmates. Although the methods used by inmates in each
case vary, they all share a common theme: they were caused by desperation from the imminent
presence of death.
The uprising at the Treblinka camp was triggered by a series of German military defeats bringing the
camp closer to liberation by allied forces. The Jewish prisoners knew that if the allies came close to
the camp the SS would liquidate all of the inmates and destroy the camp to hide any evidence of the
atrocities committed within. After careful planning and the discovery and suicide of the original
resistance leader, an escape was made. 300 inmates broke free of the barbed wire fences as resistance
fighters attacked the guards. During the SS lead manhunt that followed, 200 of the 300 escapees ...

Bowling Green State University Program Analysis
The President s Leadership Academy at Bowling Green State University is a program that is made up
of a diverse group of the strongest students at BGSU, who all have a passion towards helping others.
The diversity of this group allows students in the PLA to reach all corners of the University. This far
reaching inclusivity makes a large university feel more like home and a close knit community. The
scholars in the PLA program also show strong leadership abilities and a drive to create a better place
for everyone at BGSU and beyond. Through their leadership skills and their drive to help others PLA

I am interested in being a PLA scholar because I have a devotion towards working with other people.
My first job, at the age of 14, was working in a retirement home. I worked there for over two years

Effects Of Modernism
The Modernist era was a social and cultural movement characterised by rapid social and technological
change in the 19th and 20th century. The art movement revolved around a group of innovative artists
and art critics who challenged preconceived ideas about what good art was, and redefined
expectations. Modernism affected the ideas and practices of artists, increasing the attitude of the Avant
Garde to be original. Abstraction was explored visually and artists moved away from pictorial realism,
bringing into focus new techniques and acceptances. Abstract Expressionist was the final sub era of

He aimed to distil the core essence of each artwork through visual vocabulary; using non genre based
subject matter such as distorted shapes, squiggles and motifs. For example, in his painting
Composition IV, 1911, Kandinsky has partially disguised symbols of subject matter from the outside
world, such as boats, reclining figures, and a castle on a hilltop, beneath vibrant blocks of colour and
harsh black lines. The notion of battle is conveyed in the chaos of the composition particularly in the
way Kandinsky has juxtaposed the clashing vibrant high key colours, with the calm of the flowing
forms. This alludes to the peace and redemption to
follow. Kandinsky s formalistic approach to the biomorphic painting with a specific focus on colour,
shape and arrangement was challenging to the deeply ingrained notion that subject matter was
required to tell a narrative and realistically represent society. Kandinsky was criticised for devaluing
art in the Modernist era and promoting the notion of art for art s sake due to the abstract nature of his
work. However he argued that such artwork could create a corresponding thrill or contrast of emotion
in the audience. He said Such works of art at least preserve the soul from coarseness; they key it

By using the services theory of culture, QR codes can evolve the commercial performance as customers will freely identify and access the information related to services (Sang Ryu and Murdock, 2013). For instance, in the healthcare sector, consumers can scan the QR code to identify the services terns, cost of services, facilities available etc without wasting valuable time. Once they are out of high school and met with reality, they realize that it s hard moving out right after high school. This project has helped me open my eyes to what would happen. • 7. Descriptive Essay About The Cemetery The cemetery I chose to visit and explore was the Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. On the way to the cemetery I couldn t help but feel anxious. When I began to drive past the cemetery to its entrance, all I could see were miles and miles of headstones. It was eerie to say the least. As a kid, whenever my family would drive by a cemetery, my siblings and I would hold our breath until we passed so as to not breathe in the wandering, lost souls. Actually going into a cemetery to look around seemed counterintuitive, I wasn t sure if I would be able to hold my breath for that long. However, to my surprise, as I made my way through the graveyard this feeling of sadness slipped away. The sun began to shine through the clouds of gray and illuminated both the cemetery and my mood. I was delighted to notice that many of the tombstones I encountered read that these lives that were lost were not taken too soon. They argue that it may take a spacecraft too much time to accelerate to a speed close to the speed of light. Some people think other stars are too far, and it may take hundreds or thousands of years to reach them. However, as we will show, these arguments don t rule out the possibility of interstellar travel. In contrast, there are possible method to travel to very far object in a person s life. We don t consider some possible but still very unrealistic technologies like twisting spacetime. Interstellar objects are very far. The closest star except the sun is Proxima, with a distance of 4.27 light years. Many stars have a distance of hundreds or thousands of light years. • 13. Differences Of Ancient Sumerians And Modern Society When analyzing the biological, cultural, and social, aspects of the ancient Sumerians and modern day humans we see a profuse amount of distinctions and contrasts. Modern humans live in advanced and culturally diverse societies which in comparison makes ancient Sumer s way of life seem very plain. The two groups evidently share many differences , but the author, Samuel Kramer, argues that in the face of oblivious contrasts, the roots of these two societies are still very fundamentally analogous. Kramer then expands his point to say modern humans and ancient Sumerians are similar and comparable on the content of their character, their reactions to war and conflict, and with the similarity of their social class system. Today in modern society we take many precautions to avoid war and physical conflict. We have many organizations and systems in place to minimize the probability of conflict occurring. This is mainly attributed to the poor and negative views on wars and battles Americans have; but Americans are not the sole society to have this view. Kramer effectively showcases the similarities of the two groups when in History begins at Sumer he says, That war and warfare were rampant all over the Ancient Near Fast is, of course, a well known melancholy truth, and modern history books filled with grisly details taken (Kramer 260). MRI, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a technique using magnetic waves and radio waves to investigate the human anatomy and physiology. The usage of the magnetic waves protects patients from other harmful effects present in other forms of scans, such as the ionising radiation in CT scans. The process of how an MRI operates is complicated, and involves many principles of Physics, by using the water molecules within the human body to construct a complex, three dimensional view of the anatomy . The MRI is far more advanced than many other imaging techniques used for humans. X Rays, and other scanning devices do not have the same in depth view accompanying and MRI, and even with the presence of Barium , and other contrast material that increases the quality of the image, the image itself is two dimensional, and does not have anywhere near the amount of detail observed in an MRI1. Likewise, the CT scan, which can provide imaging in far more detail than an X Ray, however has the danger associated with using the radiation which has been reported to lead to effects such as cancer or the breakdown of DNA The concept of an MRI machine originated back in 1952, when the American physicist Herman Carr published a thesis with Harvard University sharing his findings on Magnetic Imagining, and proposed a rudimentary idea for a once dimensional magnetic imaging machine.1 Over the next 20 years, his initial ideas were developed by researchers, who proposed the idea of NMR , or nuclear ... Graduate University Of California At Los Angles Essay I am quite delighted that as a student from a very small town with limited educational facilities in Iran, I have reached to the point to consider myself eligible to apply for University of California at Los Angles. After finishing my early education, my strength in mathematics guided me to continue this field in high school and from then on I was appealed to the application of mathematic in real world problems. As for university, however, I preferred to pursue this interest in Industrial Engineering major rather than Applied Mathematic mainly because the former had a broader perspective of future careers. During my bachelor degree, I realized that despite the extensive undergraduate study, I still need to complete the graduate study to discover my ultimate career goals. In addition, upon graduation, I took the opportunity and worked for one year as an industrial engineer to ascertain whether I am suitable for academic environment or job market. Ultimately, after finishing the master degree in Tsinghua University, I came to the conclusion that my passion for research makes me a better fit in academic area. Hence, I decided to follow my graduate study in Ph.D. level and accordingly apply for a faculty position. As a result of this definite decision, I even turn down the job offer of Mercedes Benz Company for battery localization project in Beijing. Many of these qualities are traits that I feel I have and are continually being strengthened by the knowledge I acquire through my graduate courses and the role as FCIM facilitator. As a principal, I will be a curriculum leader on my campuses, especially classroom instruction. I will spend a high percent of my time walking the hallways, devoting the majority of my efforts to evaluate, and coaching and supporting my teachers in doing their job. I will serve as an expert in curriculum and exercise my expertise by providing professional development, providing specific feedback, and modeling lesson in the classrooms. I believe I have a strong background in curriculum, and I will continue professionally developing my curriculum knowledge, ultimately making me a great instructional leader. • 31. Personal Reflection Of My Personal Code Of Ethics After investing 5 weeks in my Ethics 302 class, I ve learned that morals are, rules and attitudes that we live by, or are expected to live by. Therefore, morals are related to my personal code of ethics. My personal code of ethics or conduct plays an important part in my everyday life and activities. This personal code of conduct promotes many virtues and qualities and produces my moral character. Some results of my moral character is integrity, courtesy, dependability, friendliness to name a few. Therefore, my moral character will gauge if I m a good person with a solid moral compass. When I think about morality and how it relates to my personal code of ethics, I m constantly reminded that we have a free will to choose what is right and wrong and good or bad. This free will or moral compass directs us which way to go when making decisions concerning right or wrong. It will make a difference with the friends we choose, the profession we try to obtain and also how we display our emotions such as happiness, anger and resilience. Thinking back, I believe my personal code of ethics were influenced by my parents and my religion. As a young man, I strive to live my life based on my christian upbringing. God is my moral strength when things get challenging and difficult with the cares of life. He reminds me when I m faced with wrong decisions what s right or wrong. In addition to my belief and experiences, my parents have encouraged morality in our household since birth. Okay, maybe not since birth but early childhood. With that being said, I think I can say that I have good moral characteristics. The ethical theory that I closely follow is Divine Command Theory. Based on the definition file distributed for this course, Divine Command Theory is, a theological theory that God has created the laws of morality; in other words, something is right because God commands it. Opposed to natural law theory, which claims that God commands something because it is right. I try to hold this theory close because I know I can t control my moral compass without a higher deity. For example, I try to practice integrity in my life. As I think back to one of the examples in our discussion forum where we shared about ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
