I am a friendly mature young person, I have excellent communication skills and I can
communicate with all types of people of all ages. I am very eager to enter the world of
work and gain some valid work experience. I feel I could contribute a lot to a team
situation as I have excellent customer service skills and have worked under pressure in
my current role.

The Glass House Restaurant Sept 2015 - present
Voluntary Work
As Part of my college course I am working at The Glass House Restaurant once a week
in the evening.
*Dressing the tables for the evening
*Waitressing – Serving members of the public
* Excellent customer service skills and Communication skills.
* Assisting the Head Chef in the kitchen – preparing food.
* Washing up and keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy
Any other duties that is required of me throughout the evening.
Holyrood Nursery May 2014-July 2014
I am participating in the ‘Teens and Tots’ Programme through my school. I work at a
local nursery half a day a week:
* Mentoring a young child of the age of 4
* Reading to the children
* Helping the children at break and lunch.
* Communicating with the children and staff
Achievements
Army Cadet Force 2012 – 2014
I attended cadets for 2 years. Here I worked up to a training 2 star cadet from a new
recruit and participated in various activities. I participated in community events such
as poppy collecting in the run up to Remembrance Day and also other fundraising
activities. I also participated in The Remembrance day parade in my local town for 2
years running. I went on various camps to help me gain badges such as first aid and
weapons handling. Participated in Annual Camp where I learnt how to live on the basics
in life and also navigate.

2. I have also represented the cadets at school and took part in the Army Cadet force
Service. Here I met various veterans of war and spoke to other children about the
Army Cadets Force

Salford City College September 2015 - Present
Walkden Campus
I am currently studying Level 2 Catering, Hospitality and Culinary Arts at College. This
is a very practical course and involves working in the restaurant once a week. I also
complete theory work in class. Alongside this I am re – sitting my GCSE maths.
