connections from the world
• Use websites for people to interact with each other
• Huge percent where kids are using these sites than
adults
• Facebook, Twitter and Google is top used websites

 It can, but it doesn’t. it can be used for academic
purposes, and can bring together a group of people in a
more effective way. Most researchers done by the
internet. So, social networking would be a great way of
sharing various information on topics.
 Teenagers would commit suicide from on the hate and
cyber bullying from other people. They might get hate
because of their appearance, skin color and etc. It is an
easy way to target people and make fake accounts and
make fun of other people easily without saying it to their
face.
 Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Google, Instagram and
Kakao.
 I think its popular because when one person does it
people will follow the trend. It is an ongoing never ending
trend.

Facebookdominates other social networking options for Americans
Measured by the number of people having profiles on a social media site,
Facebook has the highest penetration among the top social media entities.
Facebook has more US profiles than the next three largest sites combined.
Interestingly, MySpace, the once dominant social network, is ahead of
Google+, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr. From a marketing perspective,
note that this data only represents profiles. It doesn’t take into account
others who may view the content via sharing. Further, this data is measured
across a broad user base, Americans over the age of 12. This understates the
impact of social media platforms whose audience form a focused segment
like Tumblr or Pinterest. (As a point of reference, here’s other social media
data.)
Actionable Marketing Tip: Focus your social media efforts on those platforms
where your target audience spends their time. For example, if you’re
targeting teens and/or twenty-somethings, then include Tumblr in your mix.

What is social networking? • use of a dedicated website to communicate • Used for sharing interests, activities, or real-life connections from the world • Use websites for people to interact with each other • Huge percent where kids are using these sites than adults • Facebook, Twitter and Google is top used websites

Pros • get connected, share, doc umenting memories, explore things and make new friendships • Tend to reconnect • Spreads faster than any other Cons • Lack privacy • Can not completely erase all the information • Cyber bullying can occur • False information is given • Cheating on school exams

  • 6.  It can, but it doesn’t. it can be used for academic purposes, and can bring together a group of people in a more effective way. Most researchers done by the internet. So, social networking would be a great way of sharing various information on topics.  Teenagers would commit suicide from on the hate and cyber bullying from other people. They might get hate because of their appearance, skin color and etc. It is an easy way to target people and make fake accounts and make fun of other people easily without saying it to their face.  Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Google, Instagram and Kakao.  I think its popular because when one person does it people will follow the trend. It is an ongoing never ending trend.

Facebook has more US profiles than the next three largest sites combined. Interestingly, MySpace, the once dominant social network, is ahead of Google+, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr. From a marketing perspective, note that this data only represents profiles. It doesn’t take into account others who may view the content via sharing. Further, this data is measured across a broad user base, Americans over the age of 12. This understates the impact of social media platforms whose audience form a focused segment like Tumblr or Pinterest. (As a point of reference, here’s other social media data.) Actionable Marketing Tip: Focus your social media efforts on those platforms where your target audience spends their time. For example, if you’re targeting teens and/or twenty-somethings, then include Tumblr in your mix.
