This document discusses how body language can affect how we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us. It notes that feelings of power are associated with expansive body language while feelings of powerlessness are associated with contracted body language. The document discusses an experiment that found doing "power poses", expansive body language, for two minutes can increase levels of testosterone and make one actually feel more powerful. It recommends adopting power poses before situations where we feel we will be judged to boost confidence and feelings of power.

Yes! Our own chemistry could be
changed by the body.

2. Cortisol

20. Amy Cuddy has conducted experiment on power poses
and found how hormonal changes took place after power
poses are made.

testosteron spikes up!!

anything you fear about and then see how
powerful you would feel the next second.

Whenever you have a social threat situation or
your going to be evaluated or judged.
