4. Rev 14:7 And he cried with a mighty voice, Revere God and give

judgment has arrived. Fall down before Him; pay Him homage and

Joh 4:23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here,
when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in
spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such
people as these as His worshipers.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship

1Co 14:14 For if I pray in an [unknown]
tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me]
prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears
no fruit and helps nobody].

The answer is simple enough. Do both. I
should be spiritually free and expressive as
I pray, but I should also be thoughtful and
mindful as I pray. I should sing with my
spirit, and sing with my mind.

Php 3:3 The real believers are the ones the
Spirit of God leads to work away at this
ministry, filling the air with Christ's praise
as we do it. We couldn't carry this off by
our own efforts, and we know it--

Psalm 22 states that God is enthroned on the
praises of Israel –
the word ‘praise’ does not mean singing a few
nice songs or thinking quietly about God.
No, the word means ‘high’ praise.
Praise that is enthusiastic, loud, passionate.
Passion / Zeal is God’s Kingdom-Increasing Tool

27. 3. Choose Spirit over Flesh
Not what your soul or body desires,
but with your spirit –
…worship the Father in spirit and in
truth, for the Father seeks such to
worship Him.

Worship
Your spirit and God’s Spirit must come into a state
of glorious union if you are to be led by the Spirit in
powerful worship
As you become one spirit with God through surrender and infilling, his
motives can become yours, his love becomes expressed in you and
your worship is led and perfected by his own Spirit’s leading.
It’s the Holy Spirit who will communicate to your spirit, giving
direction, power, life and strength to your worship.
