Summary
The purpose of cafe testing was to have others navigate
through our app and give constructive criticism. This would allow us
to improve the app and make it more useful.
We had five individuals test our app and give us details of what
they liked and did not like. Before they navigated the app, we had
them sign a consent form and fill out a pre-survey. This allowed us
to see who we were testing and make sure we had a variation of
individuals. We then had them navigate through the app and
express what they were thinking while navigating. After, we had
them complete a post-survey and had them give constructive
criticism.
Testing allowed us to have “fresh eyes” and improve our
application. We then made sure to make improvements to make our
app more user friendly.
