4. UBTEB is Uganda Business and Technical
Examinations Board established five years go.
As a new board, the needed publicity to inform
the public about the new awards body because
the public knew of UNEB.They printed flyers and
bronchures containing the name of the board
and the courses they were examining. Okello a
staff in the Examinations security department
was very talkative and eloquent. He always
wanted to talk to guests who came to board and
explain what the boards offered and the
benefits. Because hi office was close to the
reception, He always quickly moved to explain
what the receptionist was not ably explaining

5. He always worked as the master of ceremonies during
the board functions and he performed the duties very
well.
Management identified a talent in him of confidence,
elloquency which was very vital for a public relations
person.
Management asked Okello if he was interested in the
field of public relations. He indeed was interested.
They sent him for a training in Nairobi in
Communication and public relations for three months.
On return, Okello was appointed a the PR Officer a job
he has performed very well for four years. He is one of
the best PR officers in Public institutions
The board has now grown with more staff recruited
and many Institutions of higher learning enrolling
students to sit for their examinations.
