1. New Certificate IV in Occupational Health and
Safety Program
Workplace Safety Remains an Important Issue for

Program.
This new certificate program was created after government officials reviewed
and updated the Occupational Health and Safety Code of Practice of 2008
and created the Work Health Safety Act of 2011.
Officials followed up that work by issuing additional updates last year with
the Work Health Safety Codes of Practice 2012.
The Australasian Training and Education Centre’s new Certificate IV in Work
Health Safety Program covers all the updates as well everything that has
remained unchanged.
